I just saw this rather amazing Humble Bundle posted and picked it up immediately. It's a collection of puzzle and game design books, including a book called Puzzle Craft by Mike Selinker and Thomas Snyder that goes into great detail about how to design all kinds of different puzzles, and has been updated to include ARG-puzzle design. Puzzle Craft is from the same team behind Maze of Games and The Conjurer's/Librarian's Almanaq. They're all PDFs, but you also get a discount coupon for the Lone Shark bookstore if you want to get a hard copy of Puzzle Craft once it becomes available in a couple of weeks. www.humblebundle.com/books/puzzlecraft-books

I have the physical version of Puzzle Craft -- is it being reprinted?
Your post reminds me that I want to get The Maze of Games -- has anyone tried this puzzle book?

Yes, it’s being reprinted and updated. There’s a thread on here about Maze of Games. It’s great but very, very difficult. There’s a small hintbook that was published just to assist with the final puzzle. I find the interactive e-book version published on Lone Shark Games’ website more manageable/user friendly than the physical copy. I will also confess that I enjoyed the puzzle hunt that took place during the Kickstarter for Maze of Games more than I enjoyed Maze of Games itself.

I LOVED The Maze of Games - I spent the better part of my summer in 2016 devouring that book, and I wish dearly that they would write a sequel. So. Good.

I'm working through Maze of Games in my spare time and really enjoying it so far.
