What I really want to buy is not these Frankensteinian cobbled together boxes, but the membership kits from 2013 and 2014.

What I really want to buy is not these Frankensteinian cobbled together boxes, but the membership kits from 2013 and 2014. "While we would love to sell you the membership kits from 2013 and 2014, they were produced in limited quantities and additional pieces simply do not exist." Next year: 12 New Kits made up of random spare pieces from 2013 and 2014 Membership Kits.

It is an indication of just how small their business was in 2013 and 2014 that I have been unable to find someone who owns those membership kits, not even someone who is willing to sell them.
By the way, if anyone wants to sell their circular brass tag that came with Volume 1 of C&C, I'm in the market.

Just a note that bargains can still be had on eBay if you are patient. I just picked up the coin I most wanted, the Order of Sand and Smoke coin, for $5.50.

I think more Experiences will turn up on eBay as people decide they'd rather have some cash than this thing that was sent to them. It's an open question as to what the marketplace will force the prices to be. High or low? Retail price? If I were to sell my "Filigree in Shadow" set, which includes the Seance add-on, it's hard to imagine that I would get what I paid. Ditto for The Kickstarter edition of Century Beast. Any of the personalization would have zero value to a new buyer. In fact, that might be seen as a negative thing.

I wonder if MPC plans on personalizing the Membership Cards, or if they're just going to send them blank.

I didn't realize selling experiences was a thing. I was certainly disappointed in my century beast - not a single cryptogram to be found! - still have all the pieces, though. Do you just ship someone a massive box of ephemera (and a whopping statue?)

Do you just ship someone a massive box of ephemera (and a whopping statue?) Simply put: yes. Don't sell it for less than the original price you paid because it has been retired.

Do you just ship someone a massive box of ephemera (and a whopping statue?) Yes! I don't care that much about codes and puzzles. I want a uniquely told story with tangible elements. If there are codes in it which fit the narrative that's a plus, but not necessary.

You will perhaps not be shocked to know that my Colouring Book order was not mailed on the date they said that it would be mailed. While this isn't surprising historically, in recent orders they were much more on time than before.
