Well, MPC's cover photo on Facebook has been updated to show a tree limb with the words...."it's coming". Of course we have to guess what they mean by that.

You do plan your time very far in advance! Sorry. Don't have time to respond until June, 2022. I'll get back with you then.

A tree branch doesn't feel very Global Detective Agancy/Post Mortem to me. If MPC has a Black Friday sale, then it would make sense they'd be witholding any news of a new product for that.

There is an email from the GDA that links with a trailer about a February release of Post Mortum. Hmmm...

From the Global Detective Agency:
Good day from the GDA.
As you may be aware, a profound corruption scandal -- known to the citizenry as “Grim Sunday” -- has shaken the bedrock of Los Angeles law enforcement. Although no doubt a difficult time for the City of Angels, it is also one of opportunity for the GDA, and those who wish to join us.
In an unprecedented decision, the District Attorney has given our world-renowned organization temporary jurisdiction and oversight of the LAPD. And so -- in need of more gumshoes on the ground -- we are looking to recruit a large number of probationary cautionary auxiliary agents.
Accepted applicants would be working in the capacity of auxiliary agents, providing third party review of law-enforcement cases.
Here is footage from the GDA to give you an idea of how we would be working together: Post Mortem
The first available case will be made public on the Mysterious Package Company website on December 21st and will start shipping out in February. If you think you can help solve it, visit the website on that date.
Remember: We are everywhere.
And our eyes never sleep. Ella Crane

Wonder how it will be priced, and if they'll still accept the discount code they mailed to some of us. The discount is the only reason I'm considering this.

Why was the discount code given?

Why was the discount code given? Because we mailed in an application.

Watching the teaser I can’t say I’m particularly excited. I feel like murder mysteries as a genre have been done to death.

I'm kinda digging the whole 40's LA gumshoe vibe. I'm willing to give it a try - especially since we've been waiting (over) a year. I see no reason they shouldn't honor the discount code we got. I'm just curious to see the pricing... and how much the discount is worth.

Why was the discount code given? Because we mailed in an application. Now I have to dig and find out what I did with the postcard with the discount code. It is buried somewhere after sitting around collecting dust for a year. But I do believe it was for $50 off....which tells me I expect this to be a very pricey product. Found it! Letter not a postcard. and yes, it is for $50 off.
