I've spent more money than I care to admit with MPC, but for the first time something has kinda creeped me out and thus have a question: is the date on "page 6" of the first mailing customized? Because mine says April 13th... and it's April 13th... Lucky coincidence?
Edit: nevermind I'm an idiot. It says the 30th and apparently I'm dyslexic. But that does mean the jar will arrive around the 30th. Do you think the sale was planned this way?

They couldn't hit a bullseye if they were standing a foot away and using an elephant gun.

They couldn't hit a bullseye if they were standing a foot away and using an elephant gun. Or a barn.

April 30, aka Walpurgisnacht, is a fascinating day in its own rite. Bonfires were used by the superstitious to ward off witches and evil spirits that would be assembling for the Witch's Sabbath.
Bram Stoker used it as the day Jonathan Harker arrived at Castle Dracula, if I'm not mistaken.
This was always my favorite part of an MPC experience: finding the real-world tie-ins.
