Aren't we just beating a dead horse here, with some people relishing it? I'm not a long standing member of this community, but it is very negative on this and other topics. I think most of us would love to have some encouraging news from MPC, or indeed any of the puzzle game manufacturers to discuss. We're just in the middle of a prolonged dry-spell where good news in concerned. Tides will change.

Even though I was unable to purchase I left the "Loot Bag - Games" item in my cart, and now it says "sold out" and has disappeared from the website.
Very mysterious, indeed...

I can see how, if you are new to the community, we could come across as very negative, rather relentlessly so. Trust me, it didn’t used to be this way. Unfortunately, many changes have taken place lately at the MPC- changes that have been almost uniformly for the worse. If you’re relatively new to the MPC, it probably isn’t as apparent. However, those of us who were here for the glory days are having something of a hard time processing just how much something we loved has essentially fallen into ruins. Many of us were well and truly devoted to the MPC and its products, especially C&C. We spent hours discussing puzzles and swapping theories. We hung out in the chat room constantly, hoping for new people to help. We recommended it enthusiastically to everybody we knew. We forged real-life friendships. Heck, at least one of us even got a C&C inspired tattoo! Given all this, it’s almost hard to put into words the depth of hurt and even betrayal many of us feel due to recent actions and developments on the part of the MPC. They ruined and then killed off our beloved C&C. They ditched the Vault that we all loved. Their customer service and product quality declined dramatically. Instead of feeling like valued members of a secret society, we began to feel like nothing more than marks for them to make a quick buck off. A level of disdain crept into their interactions with customers that had never been there before. And the disappointments just keep coming. So I understand that we may seem incredibly negative, but unfortunately, you’ve joined the community at not the best of times, when the quality of the company is declining rapidly and many of us are stuck in various stages of mourning.

I'll bite. Who got the tat, and what of??

I just received a very well-written and polite cancellation message from an MPC Concierge:

Any speculation on what this might be? Games and Loot doesn't sound a whole lot different than Conundrums and Curios.

I'll bite. Who got the tat, and what of?? Ideally, it wasn't an "SZ" on the finger.

My order was cancelled, but no explanation or email from the MPC. In fact, I'm still receiving emails telling me that there's an item in my shopping cart.

I'll bite. Who got the tat, and what of?? The Beard got a tattoo of the OSS symbol. And actually, now that I think about it, I think someone else posted a photo to the MPC Facebook page a few years ago, showing the tattoo they got of the MPC lamppost.
