I could use a nudge on this one. replacing the vertical lines with dots creates a usable morse code, but it's gibberish. Am I on the right track?

He's missing. So it's not his code at all. This isn't so much a code. It's as easy as 1, 10, 11.

Running into trouble with this one. I have the string of vertical lines and dots (assuming I transcribed them correctly - even with a magnifying glass it was difficult on some), but if it's not as K8 described, I'm not sure where to go with it.

K8 was on the wrong track entirely. By the time you figure it out,

I have tried to convert the information the numbers into letters using several decoders. But all I get is symbols and letters that do not spell out any word(s). Any further suggestions you can give us?

I would consult the Wiki. This puzzle is actually tied to one of the postcards that arrived with Volume 1, Issue 3. EDIT: Oops, I'm so sorry! Ignore what I said, I'm getting my puzzles mixed up. This is not connected to the postcards. It's simple binary.

Are there any further suggestions on decoding the binary?

Are there any further suggestions on decoding the binary? One problem many people have is that there is sometimes a small space in the cluster. Treat it as though there is no space. Also, don't confuse binary and ASCII.

I'm clearly going blind, and/or crazy. While the Samuel FB message I could find easily, I can't find anything that could translate into any pattern of dots, dashes, or other sort of broken lines. However, I did find A series of numbers in the wrench ad that may lead to something. I haven't seen reference to them elsewhere, but it looks like a book code. Nothing on our Danish friend, nor our northern adventurer, however. Could I please get a nudge or a page number or vision-corrective surgery?
