Can I get a little help? I'm at the page that discusses the second and third month number predictions and you need to use the scratch card I have already figured out all the months and numbers using the plastic cards My question is do I need to scratch off the numbers using 2nd and 3rd month numbers? (July and August) Thanks in advance I just don't want to ruin the scratch card! Last edit: I heavily suspect multiplication is required, call it a hunch

Hint: You're very close, but there is only one month to scratch off. Although the numbers in July and August were correct, they hadn't bought the ticket yet at that point.

So I am working my way through this game and must say I am very impressed. The puzzle are extremely well though out and engineered. The story (for me anyway) is very interesting, I must say, other than some online app games, I knew nothing about runes until this.
Compared to other all-in-one premium experiences and some subscription box games our there this for me is true value for money.

Couldn't agree more with your assessment memosinstilettos. Really fun. I haven't made my way through the third package yet, but just seeing the components has me very excited.

So I've made it through the three main mailings (the artifact mailing is yet to come) and I have mixed feelings about the experience. Some thoughts: - The packaging and quality of the materials is unquestionably the best of any subscription box type thing I've ever done. The items are often beautiful and always have incredible attention to detail. I'm very excited about getting the artifact mailing, as I know roughly what it is and it sounds stunning. - The first mailing is one of my favorite mailings ever, with a huge variety of intriguing and very well designed puzzles. In particular from that mailing, the puzzle with the slots and the months is one of the most enjoyable and well designed puzzles I've ever encountered. - The puzzles are highly original and challenging, and as memos said above, the runes research in particular stands out. I agree that this is very much worth the cost, as it takes quite a while to work through each mailing and the items contained within are wonderful. - I think that there are a fair number of VERY tenuous logical leaps that you need to make with a number of the later puzzles, especially in the third box (either that or I'm not smart enough to make those connections on my own, as I'm doing this solo). As a result, I've needed to resort to the (very well done) hint system significantly more than I was expecting to, which was frustrating. I also found it annoying to have to return to items from previous boxes to solve later puzzles mainly because it often wasn't clear that you needed to or were expected to do so. - A couple of puzzles didn't work for me at all, including the rose petal puzzle where you have to hold them up to the sun, which believe me, I tried to get to work many times, including on different days and to no avail and sadly the final online puzzle of the third box, which I inputted correctly and nothing ended up happening, which was disappointing; I had to resort to clicking the link included in the hints to get to the end. - I have some narrative issues with this, mainly from a plausibility perspective. My main problem is that the puzzles seem incredibly convoluted and inexplicable given the general context of what's going on, especially with things like having there be hidden messages from someone contained in items that they would have never been able to get their hands on (I'm being intentionally vague here for someone who's totally new to this). I remember Todd having a similar kind of issue with the postcard mailing that previewed this (why would there be a message in English hidden in an ancient Viking artifact), and his concerns were prescient. As a result, the puzzles often pull me out of the story because their existence in the context of the narrative seems unlikely. This doesn't mean that the puzzles themselves are bad by any means. Overall, despite all my comments at the end there, I've mostly found this to be highly enjoyable and definitely in the topmost tier of subscription/multiple mailing experiences. Very much recommended, though I think I'd suggest solving this in a group as opposed to solo as some of the later puzzles would likely benefit from multiple perspectives and ideas being thrown around.

thanks to vacation and closed projects finally time to do some catch up on loads of stuff I have still waiting for me. Post Curious was one of those. And already enjoyed it a lot. now starting on enveloppe 3. The 2 previous ones had a nice mix of figuring something out and having some momentum again and then being frustratingly stuck again. The only thing I really disliked is their clue/answer pages, could have been done nicer and also I used the hints 1 time and instead of being a gentle nudge it felt like a big reveal to the solution. so avoided that afterwards completely. I agree with dmikester points in her review as so far for the parts that I did. Especially with storybuilding. The puzzles are so well done it is a bit of a pity that the story doesn't hold together very realistically. Not being from US, I also found it a bit wrong to assume that the telephonenumber was a US based one. I would assume it would have been a Scandinavian country instead..or UK based at least. But aside from being a critic I like their puzzles so much I would go for whatever they bring out next.

Out of curiosity, would you mind specifying (via spoiler tags or PM) which hint you thought had too big of a reveal? This is something in particular I tried to avoid so I would be interested in correcting it.

I already figured some stuff found the cities and then was lost for a bit. so skipped through the hints that I already knew the answer on and when I came to the unknown bit the hint was too literal for me. it gave away what I needed to do to in 1 go. I have to admit that this is one of the reasons why I like this forum so much if you aks a hint here they really give you good nudges so you have to thinker it out still for yourself.

Can anyone give a nudge for the star chart and calendar puzzle of part 3 I am already far enough to have: starsigns ligned up with the teachers and find the reference in the letter to have some linked to some dates. So thought I had the password for some. but it doesn't except the sentences or dates or any combination I tried. so or I am following the wrong lead or missing a last piece to make it work.

Can anyone give a nudge for the star chart and calendar puzzle of part 3 so or I am following the wrong lead or missing a last piece to make it work. Clue: You will use the calendar later as it was in the brown envelope. If you do not have the passwords yet, you will need to use the keychain items.
