For the moment Risen is on sale for $100 and the Curator code still works so - the Experience WITH shipping costs about $105 bucks. If you want it - now would be the time to buy it.

It's just the promo code CURATOR - gives you 20% off your entire purchase. They sent it out yesterday, and they said it would work for "today only", but apparently it's still alive and kicking.

No problem. Have you done Risen? Is it worth the investment? At the steep discount, I’m thinking of buying....

Risen is very plain compared to their recent Experiences (no puzzles, not a ton of content) but it has one of my favorite of their Artifacts, and I think it's by far their most convincing Experience as far as possibly fooling someone who you'd gift it to, as it's not over the top. For example, the first mailing is just a postcard. However, it's also been very much unboxed and revealed online, so someone getting a mailing and doing a quick Google search would find videos spoiling the whole thing. Still, I would probably pay $100 just for the Artifact, and it's one of the most talked about items on my MPC shelf when friends come over (and it has a very nice surprise element to it that certainly surprised me the first time I noticed it).

They're retiring it. Are they seriously just liquidating all of the experiences to start over? Why even bother? Just fold it, if that's where you're headed. Ugh.

What is the surprise you speak of? That the artifact glows in the dark. Creeped me out and then made me laugh the first time I saw it.
