Got confirmation that I've got the right answer for August... but I need to take another look at June. Whoops My June was all good - if you need a hand or sounding board, just shout! Had an issue with the constellations. Figured it out

I confess to being baffled with the fireflies and I have a feeling I have something wrong with v or maybe am not getting enough from it. Two questions/nudges would be welcome (spoilered below). 1. Are you only supposed to get three/serpent and river/water and moon to dawn, so right to left, from v, or do the directions from iv point to three separate numbers? 2. It seems like the symbols in the lower left corner of each card should mean something in the end, as they correlate with some of the symbols in vii. Do they? This one is tough!

PMd you, but as these are common questions I would think the answers are two numbers and yes

had some extra time on my hands today so.... I took another look at (vii)... this guy is sneaky! I found 3 other complete 16 letter phrases that would seem to work with July's solution

He's very good at that - even the wrong path gives you a message or password, just to reward exploration or lead the unwary further astray....

anyone located in the US get August (0.6) yet? Just curious if we're all still waiting for arrival here or if it's just me.

anyone located in the US get August (0.6) yet? Just curious if we're all still waiting for arrival here or if it's just me. Yup, got it about a week ago or so. I'm based in California. I did seem to get it about two or three days after the people who I know are solving in the UK and Ireland. Jack, the creator, is very responsive to e-mails, so it would be worth reaching out.

Just chiming in that I finally got 0.6 in the mail (along with the spring prize) and have solved it also (summer is done). I too, like everyone here got stumped at (i) and (ii) and just figured out the pattern in (iii) to proceed. I did reach out to the creator after verifying my final answer was correct to get some direction on (i) and (ii) for completionists sake, I provided a hint based off his response below and if anyone is interested in the detailed response from him on the intended solution path, just PM me and I can send it to you. Hint for (i): This puzzle is about what the rain "washes clean"

Just did 0.4 last night, trying not to binge. May I say that, I was soooo happy to realize both the deer and the crow had their own codes? Granted, the crow code was from 0.1, but I loved solving them. And that the quotes they translated to were so great and moody. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Can someone who's done 5 PM me? I'm staring at the riddle and not even really sure where to start.

6 is making me go blind. Not sure if it's intentional, but I found a blacklight made everything easier to read. Still not sure how to work the puzzles themselves. I get the connection between multiply etc. with the different creatures, but none of the web patterns seem to be different when you track them. The only difference seems to be in the steps/sequence gaps. Thoughts?

Which specific bit are you stuck on (presuming you mean 0.6 The Rainforest)? Some general hints for it: (i) You will get two animals as a result of this (ii) These two animals are both in a single category (iii) That category helps you decide which of the three options below the spider is correct (iv) Which then leads to which of the three monkeys is correct (v) And then which of the four poems is the right one (vi) And from that poem you'll have two sets of fireflies (vii) And then in a remarkably clever double-puzzle, those fireflies give you the start location in this puzzle and you need to work out where to go next

Aaaaaand, nope. Back to square (i) after staring at it too long over the holidays. I've been trying to sort it from (iii), but they all seem to follow the same pattern - sequence, double, sequence, double.... - I tried looking at the steps in the sequence, comparing them to the top three... nada. I know that once I get it I'll feel like an idiot for not seeing it...
