The website reads that the century beast is soon to be archived, and when you go to buy it, it shows as sold out. Just a heads up to everyone

This does not bode well. I'm actually right in the middle of Century Beast right now, hopefully they have at least enough left to fulfill their outstanding obligations.

Did anyone receive an email about this before it happened? I got no less than three emails about Ceiba Tree/Quest of the Werejaguar being archived, but heard nothing about Century Beast until I saw it being discussed here last night (in the " Huge Sale" thread), and it was already sold out. I realize they probably had to promote Werejaguar much more aggressively, but it seems odd to me that they wouldn't give us a heads-up on CB.

No communication of any kind about CB as far as I can tell. Of course, we're also talking about a company that supposedly is going to be launching a brand new product soon with Murder For Sale and haven't promoted it in any shape or form beyond a random card in a product that has since been discontinued, so their marketing/communication strategy isn't exactly airtight right now.

Didn't someone surmise in another thread that they are going to give up on the experiences altogether as soon as they can sell the stock and just go forward with murder boxes?
I think I see a company flailing about.

I think I see a company flailing about. Then they can call themselves MMC Mysterious Murder Company. Or even better CNOGASAA Company no one gives a bleep about anymore. Seriously the way they keep alienating their fan base and how they deal with promoting that new murder box doesn't add up. The company seems to have lost its focus and will probably not be around next year. Seriously the murder mystery market is already crowded with HAK and Dispatch. I can't see them gaining a foothold there. Maybe they'll prove me wrong but I seriously doubt it.

Btw. does any one know of another company that produces experiences as they did? Cause I am in the minority here and wasn't mainly in for Command and Conquer.(Seriously, I am the only one who first thinks of the PC game when they read C&C?)

I've looked for other companies doing serious experiences with great tactile stuff and not puzzle-oriented, but people seem to want to buy puzzles rather than statues. I went with Wilson Wolfe and will look forward to all the stuff, and shall definitely be seeking help from my compatriots here with the puzzling aspects.

But I still crave for these kind of stories. I would probably have bought the HAK premium cases, but their stupid shipping policy doesn't allow for this. Folks, if someone wants to get rid of a used HAK premium package and would not shy away from shipping to Germany please PM me!

But beware: shipping to Germany gets you on Santas bad list. ;-)

It appears that they are going to keep runnning sales and slashing prices until everything is sold out.

Plus about $20.00 shipping.
