So, I'm wavering on this.
$80 off - plus another 14% off with the CRUSHTHEM14 code....BUT I have to pay an extra $50 shipping, making the total $179....and this is probably the last chance to get this at this price.
But I sort of want The Century Beast more....which isn't being archived (yet...)
But I'm also a completist in many respects and would I regret missing out on this?

I went ahead and bought it. Having spoiled it for myself and looked at the artifact, I at least thought that aspect looked cool. And with most of these things, I figure if I really hate it or one day think "why did I spend so much money on these..." I could always regift them. That said, I also really liked Century Beast and that artifact is cool too.

CB is definitely the better of the two, and this one is probably my least favorite of the ones I own, but I'd say that's a testament to the quality of the others. The theme is not for everyone. The person sending you things is a young girl
which yields a natural theme, which I kinda love, but other like less. Some of the smaller artifacts are some of my favorites from any experience, too, though that's very subjective. My primary complaint about the experience is with the narrative and the fact that it's a little less "mysterious" than I would like.

The one thing that stood out to me regarding WJ (I still want to call it Ceiba Tree) is that there's an interesting storytelling technique of sorts that they use that I don't think they've done in anything else. Basically, each main letter details each item that you get and explains its significance, almost like a walkthrough or inventory of each mailing. I'm sure it was done because it was their very first attempt to market something to kids and they figured they needed to explain what was going on, but I kind of like it and find that it makes the mailings feel more personal somehow than these things usually do. Not saying that makes this worth it, but just worth noting.

If you're going to go for one. make it Century Beast (for all its faults, it's a much better experience than Ceiba Tree and has a better artifact).

To be clear, for sure buy Century Beast over Werejaguar. Not a close decision in my opinion.

Well, unless you already ordered, it looks like you won't be getting this one. Was just perusing the site and noticed it is listed as archived and sold out.

*sigh* As much as I swore I would never again buy from MPC the $100 off King in Yellow AND then an additional 14% off made it too good a deal to pass up. KiY has been on my wishlist for a long time. It has always had good reviews.

It's still in my shopping basket actually, so in theory I could go to checkout and pay for it and goodness knows what MPC would do then....(I note it's still listed as a potential experience in Surprise Me too). However the $80 discount has gone, so it's back up to $229 .... which is great actually because it makes my mind up that it's not worth that.
