This may be where the options come into play. But perhaps not. Received the usual reveal, a printout, and a special kind of card. And the coin, which is fun.

It looks nice. I like these experiences that have epilogues. Even if they don't clarify anything, it's nicer than just the reveal card telling me I sent myself an experience.

While in general I agree that epilogues are nice to have, I personally feel that the quality of their epilogues is mixed; Filigree's epilogue cheapened the whole thing for me, as it added an element to the story that I thought made the reveal in the third mailing less effective, while John Augur's epilogue was excellent and surprising. Professor, on a very un-related tangent, did you end up Kickstarting The Enigma Box? If you did, how was the Holiday puzzle?

Perhaps the epilogue on Filigree was lackluster, but i did like the one for John Auger. I did end up going with the Enigma Box. Their holiday puzzle wasn't too bad - it was actually about four different puzzles to work through, but each was small. And then based on the answers to those, you could solve a fifth and enter a value into a webpage to watch a video.

We're going to reorganize the boards here soonish to make non-MPC products more prominent, so I was wondering if Enigma Box had delivered. Sounds like they did and that we should give them their own thread. I liked this Epilogue, though it was pretty predictable as far as the "They Win The War" ending goes. Did anyone choose a different one? Also, I'm curious; did anyone get a different Tarot card besides The Tower?

I got a different one. I think. I can confirm tonight. ETA: I have the same as thegenii, I just didn't want to say it unless I was sure, but I'm pretty confident now haha.

I, too, have a different Tarot card: "The Death."

Wow, that's really interesting. Here's a poor quality photo of mine:

The graphic on The Tower is definitely better. Crap! The tower is worlds better. I'd love a high-quality scan of that. It's a great illustration for "No mask? No Mask!" from The King in Yellow - and connects to the statue perfectly. This makes me actually like the statue. >.<

Higher quality photo of The Tower (and yes, the moon is kind of washed out on the card itself)

Reveal finally arrived today. I wound up with "We win the battle." I do not remember even seeing the option (and I looked when I bought it, since it had been discussed some already). While I'm not dissatisfied with this ending, I would be interested in seeing the other ending, as that's really what I would have preferred. Anyone willing to PM me a copy of whatever article accompanied the "They win the war" ending? I'd be happy to supply the same for my ending.
