I just got this email: "Greetings Cameo, Thank you for your inquiry! We are currently updating our website and as a result, some resources took longer to port over. Of course the codex is already on our website and The Vault will be made available shortly. Should you need anything sorted before then, or have any further questions, comments, or concerns, one of our caring concierges will be delighted to help however possible. Warmly, Your servant, The Curator at The Mysterious Package Company " Compare this message to the one received by a forum member on January 18th: "Thank you so much for your inquiry, As you may, or may not have heard by now, we have made the difficult decision to retire our Curio and Conundrums subscription. We are grateful to all our members for their interest and their feedback through it's life, and beyond. Moving forward, our recent shift a new web platform, one much better able to serve our growing membership, has necessitated more difficult decisions. The Vault is complex and it would cost upward of $10,000 and more time than we felt reasonable to have it rebuilt for the new platform. Considering the conclusion of the Curio and Conundrums subscription and our need to concentrate on the new subscription debuting very soon, we opted not to carry the Vault over. We are deeply sorry for any disappointment or frustration this has caused you, we hope that will give our new offerings a chance, we are looking forward to sharing them with you,"

Speaking of which, I hope they re-post the dread holiday stuff- I forgot to snag it.

Based on the sales currently underway, I have doubt there will we an MPC left.. shortly.

That is great news. Makes me more optimistic about them. I checked two days ago and it was not there.

What a pleasant surprise!
If you have trouble logging in, it may be because MPC did a security update which required members to update their login credentials. I had to log in with my *old* credentials, which were fortunately saved by LastPass, as the reset password functionality is currently broken.

I suspect or hero, Offsky, embarrassed them into doing that.

I suspect or hero, Offsky, embarrassed them into doing that. I bet you are right. Offsky did a great job with nothing. All they had to do was resurrect what they already had. MPC's "impress me" factor is well below zero at this point. and still no word on this murder thing they want to do. It's not like they are generating interest or looking for customers.

I understand MPC's resurrection of the Vault does not allow new sign-ups. If you weren't a member before the website revamp, you can't use the Vault.
You can create a new account, but the confirmation email has a dead link so your account cannot be confirmed.

You can create a new account, but the confirmation email has a dead link so your account cannot be confirmed. I’m wondering if that is intentional or yet another of They are mistakes. They’ve made so many in and temps to cut corners and save money but it wouldn’t be surprising if they made an error

I emailed customer support about the new account/dead link issue, and they wrote back within a few days claiming to have fixed it for me...but I think they might have misunderstood the issue, perhaps, as it is definitely not fixed.
In any case, I'll be continuing to pester them about it and will let you all know if I hear anything interesting in reply!
