Didn't know if this appealed to anyone, but they're running a massive sale over at the site. $100 off of both Century and King, and scaling discounts to the others. Given all that's happened with C&C, it makes me a big nervous about what they're doing to the experiences. Just thought I'd share for those who hadn't seen.

Does this mean they are ceasing production on those particular experiences? I wanted to "experience" King and The Jar...but, I am tapped from Xmas.

Everything seems to me like they never understood or even liked the experiences and CnC, and are now very eager to get rid of that "junk". Hurts my heart.

No idea, but it certainly gave me pause. They're billing it as their first site-wide sale. It makes me wonder if they're considering discontinuing certain experiences based on sales.

It struck me as interesting, too. Though KiY has been on my wish list for a while, so I'm not complaining on saving $100 on it and finally getting it (as much as my husband is probably going to fuss once I fess up to the impulse buy). It does suggest they might be discontinuing something, but I think if that were the case, they would have said so. After all, scarcity increases demand.

The only one that I'm kinda interested in is The Century Beast ($100 off)--worth it?

I loved Century Beast and King in Yellow. A note on Century Beast is that many people had a really rough time when it was first available as a kickstarter, so there are some mixed reviews of the experience in the forums. If you like things to read and a good story (and a great artifact) both of these fit the bill in my opinion.

If you search for "Personal ranking" you can see a thread that I started here with my opinion on all of the Experiences; there's also been some hearty discussion/debate on that thread about which ones people prefer. You can go to that thread for more details, but here's my ranked list for quick reference:
1. The King in Yellow
2. Risen
3. The Weeping Book
4. The Lost Treasure of John Augur
5 and 6. The Demon Jar/Century Beast (tie)
7. Filigree in Shadow
8. Quest for the Werejaguar
9. Tempus Fugit
Right now based on two mailings for Rise of the Cult and Forgotten Tomb, I'd probably put Rise of the Cult at 3 and Forgotten Tomb at 7, but those could easily change once the last two mailings arrive for each of them.

I'm considering strongly ordering the King for a second time. Mine was the one where the final artifact arrived in a broken state, and this looks ominously as if it might be my only chance to get a replacement.
Please note, MPC did offer a replacement when it arrived in its broken state. At the time I felt like I didn't need to tax the resources of a nascent company, and I've just been too lazy to repair it myself.

I have no regrets with my purchase of it. Century Beast was the first experience I purchased for myself (lucky score during dread holidays and the surprise me offer). I rather enjoyed it and have to second that the artifact is terrific.

I have to say I've been resisting the sale so far, but The Century Beast is calling me and I'm finding it hard to resist...

Was all ready to purchase KiY for the new price...until I saw the shipping cost of $25. Was it always that high?? Ouch.
25% of the purchase price? Aren't the first two mailings in envelopes? Or, am I just being grumpy this morn?

As I recall shipping has always been in the $20-$25 dollar range. I don't think that is new.
