Has anyone played this game available through the App Store? It has mixed reviews.

I assume you mean Device 6. Yes, and I love it, though I somewhat prefer their other game Year Walk (The Sailor's Dream is also good, though the least satisfying of the three). Device 6 is unlike anything else out there; it's sort of an interactive storybook, but one in which you need to solve puzzles to progress, and it tells a very dark and engrossing story. If you're a fan of the TV show The Prisoner, you'll likely be a fan of Device 6. I'd say it's worth it just for the uniqueness of it. Simogo, the Swedish developer of these games, employs exactly two people, and they're truly indie.

Yes sorry Device 6..
Awesome good to know, I think I will give it a go. I will look into the other two too.
That’s interesting that the only employ 2 people!

Oh "The Sailor's Dream" is beautiful and my favorite of their games - but to get the most of it you need an Airprint printer and actually print off the little scenes when you find them, they may be small but they are gorgeous.

I really need to replay The Sailor's Dream; it's gorgeous, that's for sure, but I found it a bit less impactful than their others for some reason. Year Walk was mind-blowing to me when it first came out; it utilized the touchscreen of the iPad in ways I'd never seen before (and actually, come to think of it, one of the touchscreen mechanics in Year Walk is something I still have never seen used since). Honestly, since they're a totally independent company and they've never put out something less than great, I'd say buy all three!

Sounds intriguing! I liked the Prisoner very much. Is it available for some other platform? I can't find it in the android store..
