There is also no need for a live duck for this one.
The price is because this is apparently a special, much fancier version of the book than what will be available in stores. For example, this will be in full color while the retail version will be black and white. I'm for sure only backing it at the softcover level, but the hardcover could make a nice gift.
Hi, I am trying to justify the purchase of the Conjurer's Almanaq. The hardcover book is over 100€ including shipping. But unlike the Wilson Wolfe Affair I got no idea what I am getting into. From the few pictures I saw from the Librarians Almanaq I would guess that this is just not up my alley. These kind of picture puzzles shown don't appeal to me. For me to justify the high price I'd need to be sure of two things: having a nice narrative which serves as a frame for the puzzles and of course creative puzzles. The one with the periodic system already looks interesting. Does anyone here have more insight into this? I'll probably post a similar question on the Kickstarter page tomorrow.
diggitydoodog: I've had dubious documents for 2 years now and finally went to work on it. Would anyone on here be willing to PM me the answer or post it in a spoiler so I can check the solution?
