Five issues, and twelve codes. Basic question: Does the Prologue yield three codes? The 24-hour lockout is rough. Unlike Volume III where you entered the codes as you went, Volume I and II vaults should not be tried until you have finished all the issues in a Volume. Do not try to enter codes as you make you way through each issue. Save them and create a list. Then enter them after you have completed the last issue in the Volume. There will be clues further down the road that provide you within information as to what order to enter all the words you gather along the way. Message received. I had already worked through the issues a year ago; revisiting them now to ensure my success.

I am purposely NOT reading this thread very closely, because I haven't really caught up on ANY C&C boxes or back materials. I did get the catch-up volumes for seasons 1 and 2 (minus artifacts) when I first joined MPC a while ago and have subscribed ever since. Just haven't had the brain space to really delve in as I would have liked.
ANYWAY... I don't want to be spoilered (gee...spell-check doesn't like that word, ha!), but am curious if I have to start with vol. 1, issue 1 to "get" this part of the C&C experience. I see on the MPC site pages for The Vault where you enter codes, but I have no idea where to start. A nudge and/or general instructions on how/where to start would be appreciated! Thanks!

Each Volume has its own Vault. In order to be able to open the Vault you have to solve all the puzzles in each Issue. As you solve the puzzles issue by issue your path will become clear.

The crosswords should give you the order in which to input the keys. Feel free to PM if you need more specific help.

Halfway through solving issue 5 so we’re not at the vault yet but is there going to be a clue directing us to the vault url or is it just where I say “ok now we go to the website”
(I got this as a gift for my mom who loves it but is sometimes frustrated by not knowing when we’re supposed to know things so I’m spoiling it a little for myself so she can have a smoother experience.)

There is a clue, in Volume 2 issue 1, but the instructions no longer work due to the website redesign. Let us know if you're having any trouble.
