For everyone who enjoyed Journal 29 there seems to be another similar book on Indiegogo: Trip 1907 It's supposed to be a sailor's journal, depicting the last mission he had been on. There seems to be much more story around the riddles which I found to be the only downside of Journal 29. Hopefully this project funds!

I have to be honest and say that I lost interest in this early. The poor writing, especially the many grammar issues, was just too much for me. I may return to it eventually, but I can’t recommend this in its current state.

The poor writing, especially the many grammar issues, was just too much for me.. I believe the Creator is from Greece so I excused most of the grammar/spelling errors... But not before my urge to dig deeper kept me thinking they were puzzle pieces!

But not before my urge to dig deeper kept me thinking they were puzzle pieces! I can forgive it from, say, a Facebook post, but if one is actually making a final produced printed product, one should at a minimum find someone native in the language you're publishing in to give it a proofreading edit. I was interested in this book but reading about this issue turns me off fast.

This seems inexpensive enough that I'm not worried about a few grammatical errors. I think most of these projects are a labor of love, and in no small part, I feel like I patronize these projects just because I want the creators to get some compensation for their efforts, and I want to see more projects like these.

I don't regret supporting this, but it's more than "a few" errors. Virtually every online passage has significant issues. I guess you could chalk it up to the character/narrator not having a great command of English, but it was distracting enough to pull me out of the experience, especially since a big part of the advertising for this was "Journal 29 but with a story". I agree with an earlier post that this should have been proofread. The few puzzles I solved were fine but simple; I'm sure they get more complex and inventive the farther along you get.

I have it and have finished. Anyone who needs help feel free to send me a message. adelindanne I'll send a message shortly. I just want to add with my offer of help, I am not affiliated with the creator for Trip 1907 so if you have feedback, you may want to reach out to him instead of me. Also, I finished the book without taking any hints, so I haven't seen any of them. If you have taken the hints and still don't get it, please tell me what the hints said so I don't essentially repeat the info they give. I'm not trying to frustrate anyone on purpose, I just don't know what they say.
