Maybe I'm missing something, but it's there an in-game reason the blue prints to the house should exist [the way they do]? I agree that this medium was an unusual choice; I wonder if it's to mimic the lengthy process in which the house itself was built? Or maybe just to slow us down a bit, LOL. Their choice of design was diabolical. I think there's a typo, too; can anyone confirm? It's entirely possible I'm seeing things upside-down after staring at it for so long today.

I will confess that while it is a beautiful box, and much more practical than previous ones, I was a bit saddened that a hammer wasn't needed. I've never actually needed a hammer. I have some advanced culinary tools that have dispatched things quite handily. My petite cleaver has definitely proven a fast friend, especially for leverage. Heh. I've always managed to use a butter knife myself.

Maybe I'm missing something, but it's there an in-game reason the blue prints to the house should exist as a jigsaw puzzle? And do you think with the final mailing we'll get the rest of the pieces? I haven't finished it yet (far from it tbh); but, is it possible that the spaces missing pieces line up with the symbols on the blueprints?

It feels like we're missing about half the pieces Of course that might just be my frustration, as I don't like these kinds of puzzles and don't have the space for them, either.

I agree with Todd: there seem to be many missing pieces (observation made after four hours of work on the damn puzzle).

I have had a range of reactions to the Puzzle. Excitement, because I love jigsaws. Rage at the irregular piece shapes. The straight edge assumption got shattered quickly. Then it slowly became apparent that it wasn't one big thing but multiple little ones. As we've completed more, I arrived at the same conclusion as others: we don't have all of the pieces. Hopefully these are forthcoming, and hopefully the delay between mailings is shorter than normal so I can get it out of the way.

Well, I completed it and can confirm that all the pieces are definitely there. To help in a couple of queries: Re: the blueprints Yes, the missing letters are there, but they're obvious and it is easy to understand without getting the plans out. And yes, I found one misrepresented letter. It still was easy to figure out.

Don't look unless you want to know: 5 If you're trying to do it all without a firm spoiler, a hint is: Remember, these are blueprints. Assume a multistory house.

Muchas gracias. Do they overlay onto the blueprint?

Muchas gracias. Do they overlay onto the blueprint? Response to question in spoiler: Yes, you're completing the blueprints, and a part of each puzzle will correspond to each of the partial drawings on the print. Also, the missing characters in the message in the large goblin letters on the puzzle matches with the "random" letters on the blueprints. You can use the blueprint for a puzzle mat since you're basically creating them with the puzzle, but I found it easier to just do them on the floor, then slide them onto the print when complete. I actually didn't think about the blueprints until finished, then noticed the rooms matched. I'm not sure if, for me, it would have been a help or hindrance to have known up front...

I am hoping someone will eventually post a picture of the completed puzzle. With four cats in the house the likelihood I can complete the puzzle without losing pieces is slim to none.
