If you have already received the 4th mailing and want to have a little moment of clarity, rewatch the kickstarter video for filigree

I'll have to go over everything in greater detail at a later time. I'm pondering what one of the stretch goals was (something about twice the number of components to interact with the artifact). Professor, I believe this is what you're remembering.

Holy cracker jacks! Just got mine. Opened the crate, took one look and closed it again, unable to cope this late in the evening. After a few minutes I went into the kitchen, grabbed a couple of things, as well as a bottle of tea and two babybels (cheese) for nourishment. Am now diggingvthru to find further treasures.

I would imagine that it will roughly coincide with the blueprint, though I could be totally mistaken. That did occur to me. But who has an available empty space that size to which it can be devoted for days? You must not play tabletop games.

Soooo...what are the "interactive items" then?

Soooo...what are the "interactive items" then? Me too. I don't see how the artifact interacts with anything.

Soooo...what are the "interactive items" then? I'm as stumped as you are, only one way to get that answer, you can always right them an email

The only thing I can think of is that it feels a lot like A stereoscope Maybe the fifth mailing will be a bit more than the traditional black envelope? Including an insert and ephemera?

Some possibilities: The jigsaw puzzle, which I assume none of us have fully put together yet, may shed more light on the situation. It may also be what they consider "interactive". It's certainly hands-on. The code on the tongue at least involves some kind of puzzle/interactivity. The fifth mailing will likely have a lot more to it than just a black envelope. I'm thinking the third option is most likely, but who knows.

There are more coded words on the jigsaw puzzle, so wouldn't decoding them be considered interactive?

There is an inherent problem with doing what needs to be done with one of the items in the box. You cannot determine in advance how large a surface you will need. I'm thanking my lucky stars right now that I saved the cardboard box my new mattress came in, as it's sizeable enough to put together a puzzle of considerable size.Displaying it once completed, though, might be tricky.
I'm wondering if the puzzle might actually, once completed, contain another portion of the cipher.

You know, one other thought about the fifth mailing. The picture with the coded message on the back, the one of William wearing the mask, shows an item in his hands and a way for him to be wearing the mask hands free. Could the fifth mailing be that item in his hands?
