I've been sending photos along to all who post via PM. It's frustratingly difficult at times, but worth it in the end! at this point I believe it would be easier to link a photo under a spoiler tag, and just lable it as the finished puzzle

Todd, or other mods, if posting this is against the spirit of the forum, please let me know and I'll remove it! A photo of part of the fourth mailing, in context with part of the first mailing: Are you sure you want to see this? It contains an image of the completed puzzles, on the blueprint.

While our rule here is to provide hints and not solutions to puzzles, I hardly think it applies to this sort of puzzle.

What does final cypher say? It says... "See, I told you! You should have drank your Ovaltine!!!"

Even with the photo, which I received privately days ago, I have not been able to complete even one of the five pieces of the puzzle .

I was getting to the point that I was about to just post a photo here, but at work so haven't been able to snag it. I had a bit of help from the husband who enjoys a good jigsaw as much as I do, and it probably took us 15ish total hours between us to finish it (I may have put in 6+ on the first day). This one had me cursing a lot, but it really was thoroughly enjoyable. But then I was the kid that family members bought jigsaw puzzles for as presents. There are some of these "world's hardest" puzzles that I refuse to touch, because difficulty for the sake of difficulty is not what I consider fun. Now I have to decide if I want to glue it all together and frame it, or take it apart and inflict it upon someone else (or even myself again) later.

Personally I like the idea of having photos of some of the more ephemeral items in the C&C as well as the experiences available in the forum. Especially for those of us who missed out on some opportunities, like the first issues of C&C and the Kickstarter version of Century Beast. Lately I have been wondering what exactly is the difference between the Demon Jar holiday version (which I own) and the Demon Jar version available for purchase today. Having a place in the forum where such differences are documented would be a plus, in my humble opinion. And a place where artifacts and ephemera from experiences and monthly issues that are no longer available to the public would also be a plus. *** I agree whole heartedly agree that solutions to specific puzzles should not be posted. Though I must admit the Jigsaw puzzle is a sort of odd duck. On the one hand posting a picture shows you the solution to the puzzle, on the other hand, such puzzles are typically accompanied by pictures of the final solution.

mjws12 - I posted the image (under spoiler tags) in a post higher up this page. Regarding the final cipher, there is a fair amount of goblin writing all over the puzzle - not just the big ones, but commentary written in different rooms in the house, as well.
Regarding the artifact, I found something neat when investigating further ... The combination of stereoscope viewers and spirit photography is pretty great. Here's a youtube video of some stereoscopic spirit photography from the time period:

Unless you see what appear to be two identical photos side by side on a single piece of paper, no, they won't work as stereoscopic images.

Are you inferring that the photos we received will work with the mask as stereoscopic images? Not at all! Rather, I provided that link as an example of how things could have been, had they gone that route.

Yay! I finally finished the jigsaw puzzle. What an enormous agonizing pain in the arse it was. But I do feel a sense of accomplishment because it's the first jigsaw I've ever done.
