Thank you for opening this thread. If you don't mind, I've changed the title so it encompasses only the first mailing. It should help keep it spoiler-free for future recipients.

I have just opened my first mailing. I have merely looked at all the contents, not even pulling letters out of envelopes. I feel very sorry for those who stayed away because of their experience with Century Beast. This is a first blush opinion only.

Mine arrived today. Looks like a promising start. There is definitely a cipher running through it. I noticed it on the blueprints, which I have to mention were pretty simplistic blueprints for a "dream estate". Again on the list of children. This one might be a key, as there seems to be 26 separate symbols. Although many seem to be the same symbol, just at a different height. My quick, first attempt at solving bore no fruit. On the bankruptcy letter. And on the goblin drawing.

Definitely a satisfying start. I also loved the fact that the day the final letter was sent is also my birthday (as far as I can tell by sheer happenstance).

I was bemused to see that purely out of random luck one of the names of the people on the list - was someone I know in real life. The name is their married name, vs maiden and the age is wrong (obviously) but it gave me a giggle. Still shivering about that other detail - had to show it to hubby so he could see it too.

I have only seen a short unboxing by someone on Periscope - they started broadcasting the exact moment I got up this morning. This seems massive, and there is no way someone would mistake this package for spam mail!
That said, my recipient remains uncharacteristically silent. Well, I will see them on the weekend...

My initial thoughts on this one... -This is a bit beefier than I was expecting from the first of four mailings.
-I don't think that the blueprints are anywhere near complete. They look pretty light for the size of paper.
-I also don't think we'll be able to decode (without brute force) the cipher until more mailings come.
-That drawing is fantastic.
-There's obviously some lead poisoning going on here. Never cheap out on your lead pipe purchases.
-The picture is a bit heart breaking.

I find myself wondering if we all have the same picture? Mine is of a youngish man, possibly 20's or 30's, and a young girl, maybe a tween.

Does anyone else think some of the stains on the blueprint look like the same cipher seen elsewhere in the package?

Does this experience remind anyone of the Haunted Manor 2 IOS game, I think it sounds similar to that plot?.

Does anyone else think some of the stains on the blueprint look like the same cipher seen elsewhere in the package? Sounds like the same picture to me. Also, I'm sure that the blueprint has cipher markings on it. I think that the blueprints may end up being "the key" to the code. I keep thinking back to the mention of items being included in the mailings that "interact" with the final item. My mind is kind of going to some sort of... projection device with slides?

I was merely thinking of lemon juice. I dare not try heat.
