Every Century Beast experience begins with the Prologue, a teaser that sets the mood. Please discuss!

Translating things to solve a mystery is not as fun as movie montages have lead me to believe.

I actually had a blast with the Prologue -- but kind of by accident. CB was for my husband as a surprise, so when the Prologue got here, he opened it, declared it marketing junk mail, and tossed it aside. Without trying to seem too interested, I asked him how he was so sure. He goes to the computer and searches 'comic bratteli solberg' and a link to a site called 'comic book e-library' comes up. Q.E.D. I went back to the site later, when he wasn't around, since it seemed pretty incredible that there could possibly be a comic book site that had historical blurbs on Bratteli and Solberg. It felt more like a shell than a real site, further proof (to me) that I was on to something. If you leave the historical blurbs page for the main page, there's a slow crawl of about 12 comic of ther 16,000 comic book offerings -- each of which seems to involve something with tentacles. I mean, c'mon!!! I spent a whole day down that rabbit hole, reading about all things Nordic link by link. Tons of interesting stuff, I was prepared for anything that would come next! When I mentioned it in the sitting room, people were interested at first and then decided it was a coincidence and not a useful find. But I thought it was a useful find if for no other reason than I had an absolute blast that day thinking I had found the secret society! Plus I was now armed with a lot of deep background.

I also think that the find is coincidence but of course there is nothing more enjoyable than falling into the rabbit hole of pleasant distraction even if it leads nowhere.

Has anyone tried scanning it and doing an image search. Also googling 'comic bratteli solberg' pretty much spoils the secret of the MPC now.

I don't believe the whole website to be a shell. But the stuff relevant to us seems to be just poorly translated versions of Wikipedia articles (I mean translated in the sense that the code is interpreted poorly by the new site), in fact if you click the improve article link it takes you to Wikipedia. Once you leave the articles there seems to be no way within the site to get back and there is no hint of any sort articles outside the ones google takes you to. Also if I use a google string (link) like that any articles I found on the website are copies of Wikipedia. And lastly I went to Wikipedia and hit random article and I took the article name after the last slash in the url and put it on the comic site after the last slash and a copy of that article appeared. It seems to me that for some reason the comic site has been coded to present Wikipedia articles as it's own content.
