I do feel compelled to note that the other experience that I do from across the pond as it were, CosyKiller, also ships AirMail and their most recent mailing arrived very quickly, I think with only a two or three day delay from when the UK solvers got it. Likely just quirks in shipping, but I'm not sure why CPP gets so lengthily delayed in the US.

CosyKiller posted non-UK order a week before UK orders to try to align timelines....so we in the UK were left hanging on because of you id...people!

Think I've got January solved now... so it's tricky, but not as bad as December was (to be fair, most of my issues with December were due to my own stubbornness)

I just signed up for the 2018 annual subscription. Do you think there's any compelling reason to order the complete 2017 subscription? The website seems to indicate they are fairly standalone, but I'm wondering if there's story that would be better appreciated with a complete set of puzzles (like C&C V1/2).

we don't know yet if the story from 2017 will continue into 2018. The most compelling reason would be "yay, puzzles!" The only thing you'd miss by ordering later is that he's got a limited set of the prizes for the 2017 seasons... once they're gone he won't make anymore.

Yup For each set of 3 months, there's a prize for getting the answer correct - it's usually delivered with the next envelope

I reiterate the puzzling side of things - worth it for that alone....

Sigh. Has anyone in the US received Jan's puzzle post yet? I always feel like the last person in the line.

I received the 2017 season yesterday. These are so beautiful I almost don't want to open some of the envelopes! I completed the March puzzles last night after a bit of a slow start (trying to understand the nature and type of puzzles being presented).

I have to say, I'm rather excited by the prospect of a metapuzzle running through all of Year Two, including the art prizes. Definitely a great way to expand the experience.
