I'm also onboard, wish I'd seen this earlier.. if anyone would like to share a room and cut costs, I'm all for it. But for sure, I'll be there.

I also just saw this. We would definitely be interested. In either Toronto or Chicago both are the same distance from us.

I’m trying to get an idea of how many people are interested in getting together so we can plan to meet! If you are interested or know someone who is, please let them know so that everyone is included!

I'm new to the forum but I'm intrigued by the thought of meeting other mystery-lovers. I live in Toronto so I can join (I have something already on the Saturday night but I could join on Friday after 4pm, up to about 5 on Saturday and all day Sunday)!

Not at all. Just a mix of C&C cancellation and people such as myself having a tough time committing or scheduling conflicts.

I will be in Toronto for a week starting this Wednesday if there is a meet up I'd be more than happy to join in! I've been on a two year hiatus from the MPC and just happy to be back

Andrews, we discovered your true identity. And the MPC is now a garbage heap 'o nuthin. John Northern Hilliard says hello.

Ah that's a shame to hear that the MPC has dropped in popularity among members here. I would certainly love to catch up regarding the things I've missed out on. Though some of the new experiences still look just as good as the ones two years ago. Are there any that I should definitely pick up or avoid?

It's not so much that MPC has declined in popularity, it's more that MPC has discontinued everything we loved about them. Curios & Conundrums, Membership Kits. No more. It rather feels like they fired us as customers. You might be surprised to know they have also discontinued many of the experiences, and it looks like this might already be your last chance to get one of the newest, Hunt for the Forgotten Tomb.

Hunt for the Forgotten Tomb and the Rise of the Cult are both pretty good experiences, although many are not pleased with the artifact from RotC. I think both these experience are probably two years old from MPC's point of view (I'd imagine at least 6 months of work from concept to production). AFAIK, they haven't created any new experiences since then.

In fact, I think the Cult artifact, and the materials that came with it, is one of my favorite artifacts they’ve done, though I can see why it would turn some people off.

This may be hard to believe, but I don't yet know what the artifact is from HftFT. I've had the box with the crate in it along with the 3rd (?) mailing sitting unopened in the corner of my office waiting for me to have enough time to throw myself into the entire experience. I received it at a time when I was overwhelmed by other mailings and experiences; I find it hard to appreciate them in parallel.
