The MPC, very specifically, marketed them as "standalone boxes." Whether that's a red herring for US or not remains to be seen, but no further puzzles have been found as of this date.

+1 here. I was prepared to enter this volume with gusto and to be there from the beginning to delve into the mystery alongside with all that I have met in this forum. I was hoping for a spirited discussion of the findings and layers that I had read about for previous C&C packages. I received puzzles that were much easier than previous issues and while I have seen some interesting and possible side streets to explore, I worry that these are just red herrings that will lead nowhere. I had great expectations but those seem to be fading fast, which is a pity, and I can only hope that there is more in store for C&C.

I wrote them with my thoughts - basically that I was disappointed with the lack of complexity in and number of puzzles as well as indicating that the paper craft in every issue seemed like dust-collecting overkill. I was very nice about it and indicated how much I love it and how long I'd subscribed, etc. but that it seemed like they were watering it down a little, essentially. I got a pretty basic form response back from someone indicating that they'd pass my comments along - and they got my name wrong. So, for what it's worth.

I sent some polite feedback to MPC about my disappointment with the lack of harder puzzles and received a nice reply back which I will quote here: I hope others will also send their feedback, so that MPC gets a better picture of what the subscribers want. I contacted MPC but have yet to receive any type of response.
