Todd, once you have yours, could I ask a favour? I would very much like to know if the artifact contains any flammable liquids or other things a customs officer might object to. I will order this for myself and would hate not be able to pick it up when it gets here.

And now a Post Office scan. I'll most likely have it Tuesday or Wednesday.

Mine has arrived today! I will edit this after I open it and describe my emotions and not spoil anything. PSA: There are some additional fun things inside the box that are not in the crate so don't throw anything away in the initial cardboard box without fully exploring. (also shout out to MPC for using the good packing peanuts)
My quick cryptic non-spoilery review is: I am pleased. It looks great, continues and complicates the story, and has one of my favorite features. It's also really heavy. Excited to hear everyone else's thoughts in the coming days!

I'm hoping that mine will show up tomorrow, if it follows previous trends, though the most recent tracking update is not exactly descriptive. If not, I expect it on Monday. Glad to hear you're pleased with it, and now I'm even more anxious to get it.

Mine arrived today after all! I'm definitely pleased with the presence of the final piece as well as its smell and the false bottom of the box that I almost didn't notice.
Edited to add: Also, I'm even more tempted now to open the jar to investigate the inside, because there's definitely something in there that thuds around, but I am loathe to break the seal.

That last bit was my favorite part. I left it out of my review just in case people couldn't help themselves and read the spoiler.

Just received mine, and this is the most tactile and interactive of all of the artifacts (also, the usual paper ephemera accompanying the artifact is excellent with this one). Why? Well... There's a strange smell, your hands actually get dirty when handling the cage and jar, and the false bottom in the box was a great surprise. Like Xorin, I'm scared to break the seal, but I feel like I have to for the full experience. Wish me luck!
EDIT: I have opened the seal, and doomed us all. Sorry. In all seriousness, definitely break the seal!

Xorin, I highly recommend opening the seal...and prepare to clean up afterwards! There is something in there, and something that was clearly meant to be seen...

OMG, I'm so glad you did it. I was wondering but didn't want to be disappointed haha. Also with the ephemera... Is it just me, or does the obituary below the intended read give dates that make the clipping not fit the narrative? I feel like everything takes place in 2015 or so but the person in the lower obituary makes it seem perhaps a few years before. Oversight on their part or did I miss something somewhere?

Centaur, it's definitely the most intense and surprising experience I've had with MPC so far. There have been flashier and in some ways more impressive artifacts, but this is so interactive and the build up is so well done; I was actually shaking a little bit during the final step! The MPC are definitely stepping up their game.
