I'll admit I not read Jane Eyre so not sure if that book ties in with madness at all. That would be Bertha. But, as has been said, the video is about a year old.

Ya I can see how Dorian Gray story can be possibly tied in with Madness. I'll admit I not read Jane Eyre so not sure if that book ties in with madness at all. Oh, it does. Believe me, it does.

Assuming that nothing is random, I've been trying to make sense of the typos in the latest email from the Curator. I found: - Two extra letters
- Two missing letters
- One extra word
- Several extra commas and periods
- Several extra non-breaking spaces
Then there is the reference to intern 293. There surely can't have been 292 previous interns at MPC, so what is the significance of the number 293?

Considering how often the interns are handling madness-inducing statues and demon-possessed candles, the turnover/mortality rate of interns is probably comparable to that of Nightvale Community Radio...

Not sure if the stuff in these e-mails will lead to anything, but here's what I've observed so far: Feb. 7 e-mail: Picture of invisible person (except the hands) sitting on the bench reading the paper in front of the sea. "member" misspelled "myoneember" in unsubscribe line (although it was misspelled on several previous e-mails too). Feb. 15 e-mail: drawing of hands shaking Feb. 17 e-mail: "art of the start" and "Surpise" italized. Feb. 23 e-mail: "A whiff of brimstone is very instructive." Feb. 27 e-mail: Extra words: "Where" and "the"; extra letters: "F" and "I"; missing letters: "I" and "T"; two extra commas (one underlined). Drawing of all seeing eye. "Transposed from quill and parchment to digital entry by intern 293."

Did anyone's email from the 15th have a picture of a skull in it? When I look at that email on my smartphone it looks almost exactly like the C&C webpage with a few differences: - "A Prestige Collectible" with its blurb appears twice in the email, one before the "A Peculiar Periodical" and one after "A Peculiar Periodical".
- The click handshake blurb with a picture of a handshake appears in the email while a pointing finger is on the webpage.
- In the email, "Oddities & Frivolities" has a picture of a skull instead of the scope contraption that is on the webpage.
I am unable to see any of this in my email program on a PC. In any other email application I see a very short email that shows "A Prestige Collectible" with blurb, then the Click Handshake with blurb and finally the "Should you have any questions...pleased to assist you." When I look at the plain text of the email I see the full email that appears on my smartphone. It is so frustrating not to be able to see the full email on my PC.

I had an extra about in the email - also, in the bit about stories of transformation, it has both 'the' and 'a' before character's

Strange... when I went back and opened previous emails, I can't actually get any of the images to show at all. Checked my phone, no images. Forwarded from Gmail to my Outlook account, still no images. My mystery just turned up a notch. Dun dun dunnnnn

I wondering if the images might be links and since the website is down...they are not showing. When I get home I will have to look at my old MPC emails.

It has been hypothesized that it is related to Amazon S3 being down. Apparently a major serve is down somewhere where a lot of things are hosted, including the MPC. I have some things at work not operational too.

Just recieved the following e-mail from Angus: I wish to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your reply. I am Angus. I like Plain Text. And I am finally able to answer the age-old question: am I alone in the world, or do others also read the plain text email. No. And yes! As it can take time to reformat a plain text email after we complete the rest, we wished to see if our efforts are in vain. They are not!
Once again, thank you for your response. It is greatly appreciated.

Same. Interestingly enough, the process by which I viewed the plain text is no longer an option in my GMail client. Not sure where it went. Now I just have the normal view or the "view original" which shows the source code version. Not as clean as plain text
