Having just opened my crate, I think this is a pretty sweet prestige artifact. I love it

I'm going to say that this is my favorite of all the experiences with which I'm familiar. The artifact isn't something which I was anticipating, and looks absolutely beautiful.
I'm actually hard pressed to say that I can tell the artifact isn't authentic. I'm quite delighted.

Having had more time last night to sit down with the artifact and the letter, I'm actually quite happy with the overall ending, though an epilogue would go a long way towards making this a tighter narrative experience. I think if you don't think of this as a treasure hunt and more like discovering a mystery and seeing history somewhat repeat itself, the whole thing becomes much better and moodier. Also, the artifact really is beautiful and well-done, and is more kid-friendly than their average artifact.

The MPC site is not without confusion. From the icons, Under a Ceiba Tree is three mailings, the crate, and the reveal. It is actually two mailings, the crate, a mailing, and the reveal, as I understand it. Regardless, though, Augur does seem to be a mailing short if the epilogue does not come with the reveal. No, Ceiba tree was actually three mailings plus an artifact mailing. The confusing part about their icons is that they weren't in the same order. I got my two regular mailings, followed by the crated, and then I had a very short epilogue mailing sent afterwards. And then of course, the black reveal envelope. I'm not expecting anything else from John Auger except for the black reveal envelope, which will hopefulyl be shipped with the t-shirt and coin.

At this point, though, a major element of the Augur experience is missing. I don't expect that it's been abandoned. Plus we're promised an epilogue according to the "Features" section of the MPC page. It'll either come with the reveal, or there is an additional mailing not accounted for. Or else both the epilogue and choice of ending has been abandoned and we just don't know it yet.

If someone is feeling up to it, we should email member services for some clarity

I'd be happy to reach out to my main man Allen at Member Services. He typically responds extremely quickly to me (once it was in five minutes!), and has actually been rather forthcoming about mistakes made in their materials. I'll do that in a bit.

Received from Allen just now: Hello Michael, I am so pleased to learn the artifact pleases you! I agree, it's a lovely bit of work! I've passed on your kind words to the whole team. I do believe the fourth and final mailing - the reveal - is when we send out the add-ons, so rather than "just" the typical black envelope, you will have more to look forward to! As always, should you have any further questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me forthwith. Allen a Concierge with Member Services at The Mysterious Package Company www.mysteriouspackage.comEdited here to note that in addition to the T-Shirt and Challenge Coin, I specifically asked about whether or not there would be an epilogue sent, and this was the response. Make of that what you will.

So now the question becomes whether the selectable ending is considered an add-on.

And what exactly they consider the "Epilogue"
