The first mummy... Interesting that Manfred Fritz Bajorat's mummified body was found in in the same general area as one of the map's points of interest. There is plenty of info on the internet regarding this discovery. Is this connected to the story or just an interesting aside? Hmmmm....

I'm gonna take a crack at it later, probably the latitude and longitude coordinates she spoke of solving. With the code book print out and her note on the last page, I'm thinking it might line up with one of the Xs on the map If I have the coordinates correct, they drop me on an island in the Pacific closely matching the description given in the last paragraph on the third notebook page. Now where to go from here?

I just talked to MPC and some peoples coordinates they decoded weren't found on the first map (this happened to me). Just telling people this in case it happens to them also.

I dropped onto a very small island in the South Pacific. It seemed to be the island mentioned on the last page of the notebook pages. ??

Any comments on the medallion? Looks like a Chinese coin with symbols similar to Chinese symbols. Might be a stretch here but that's what I have after staring at this over the past few days.

I've been wondering the same thing. I thought it looked more like symbols scratched into it similar to the tattoo (an anchor, a ship, and a house). But now that you mention it, it could look like Chinese symbols...

Did anyone else notice on the back of the last page of the journal a note saying "the shell has 7 stripes"? The shell in the diagram from the book has 7 stripes, but the shell on the coordinates cipher only has 5. Any thoughts on this? It has to be significant.

Do you mean that different people got different maps in the first mailing? Yes that is what MPC told me. According to the introductory info .... "Two women, and three men: five maps for five pirates, from Europe, Africa, and Asia." How vile, sinister, and conspiratorial of The Curator! Everybody gets a different map. The pirate code may land you on one of them. It might not be yours. You are now even more confused. Nobody can discuss locations because we all have different maps at this point. Did we expect anything less? Will we eventually receive each of the five maps? Only time will tell. Only The Curator knows for sure. Bring it on!
