I got this from knowing that A+B+C+D=Something and knowing that the first three things fell into a category I found something from the cabinet puzzle that fit the theme. Didn't see how to related the crosswords though. Any ideas?

I also got this one from putting two and two together. Not sure how everything fits together though.

This was a great piece of puzzle craftsmanship, it's one where it's too bad everyone jumped the gun and guessed the answer without solving it because, well, it's hard to un-know the answer.

This was helpful. It got me there. Now how those 4 actually tie into the Sun......

Ah..... the layout on the answer page makes sense, but don't let the third/fourth lines fool you.

I don't think so. Helena's tip above is really good (and makes you appreciate the fact that these puzzles are all planned way in advance it seems). If you know some basics of crossword design, the answer should pop out - piece by piece.

I get where d6 comes from, and I got a 7 letter word when I applied it somewhere fantastic but the vault says I'm wrong. I'm at a loss now. I read through this thread but I must be missing something. A nudge (or maybe a shove!) would be so helpful.
