Who's to Blame has to relate to the curio with the 20 sided die somehow. Clever bastards... Nope, it's actually much simpler than that. Look for letters that seem out of place.

On the same page, top right, there is a link that says "Missing something? Check the Codex". You should try searching there, see what you can find that might work with this puzzle. Please tell me this is the coin I've been waiting forever to use that as a puzzle key

Is the solution/warning from Who's to Blame used for anything?

Is the solution/warning from Who's to Blame used for anything? I would say that it is to prevent you from being cursed by a magical skull... but really it is just there to try (unsuccessfully) to protect us from the horrors within that threaten our fragile sanity. But when you get down to it, who really needs "sanity" anyway?

Right? Like what is that about? Also, I have figured out "This First" however, it either has typos, or refers to things in initial form that I can't figure out. Does D. B. mean anything to anyone? I'm catching up on some of these older threads. Can you elaborate on how you solved this or provide a hint?

There have been many hidden messages throughout C&C. This issue has a few, plus some I suspect we haven't found. I thought I would compile them all in one place. These are all items that don't relate directly to a vault key. I will spoiler the location, then spoiler the method within each one. Let me know if there are others I have missed. Who's To Blame Look for out of place letters Composed Words The first and last letters of the unscrambled letters Other places there are likely hidden messages: One Good Turn There are many unused letters, and the method of getting the vault key was fairly arbitrary. You could form a message using all the letters (e.g., vigenere), and then come up with the puzzle directions afterwards that yielded the vault key. Note that because there are no letters on the meshed teeth, each string has a clear beginning and end. Other than running it through a vigenere solver, I haven't done much with it. Wordsearch Every wordsearch so far has used the unused letters for something, but I'm not aware of anything found yet for this puzzle. Coin letters Some of the letters are used in smash'n'grab, but again the method of picking those specific letters was arbitrary and could have been added after a primary message was encoded. Several letter groupings stand out (THISFIRST, CROSWSODR, MAP, TEHAPTH) in particular.

Ah, I thought it was something else, but turns out what I had solved was part of the strawberry lock. That thread might help you.
