I humbly request (without going spoilerific) a curios thread be created for issue 4 - I received mine today with a large rip in the envelope (thanks USPS!) and I'm terrified that something may have fallen out... Too lazy to make a thread, but here isn't a super vague but good enough list of things you should have received: 2 stickers, 3 more game cards, a long Plastic bag with stuff in it, a paper craft, and a metal object. I'm pretty sure that was all I received. And the newspaper of course. If you have questions or received more than that, PM me

I'm looking forward to having the time to get at the papercraft -- I did one very similar, maybe from Spooner's Moving Animals, Karakuri, or one of the Automata series, Of course, since it isn't die cut, it rates to truly live up to its description...

My metal object looks dented a bit, anyone else? My package arrived in prefect condition so I'm assuming it's intentional.

I can't help but look at the metal object and think of a a certain lady gaga song..."I'm just a holy fool, oh baby he's so creul but I'm still in love with ..." I wonder what the purpose is....

A very superficial connection can be made to a specific article in the paper. Not sure if there's something deeper or not...

Regarding the papercraft... Rob Ives (who designed the paper automata) is great! I've done some of his other stuff, so definitely thrilled to see that included in this issue. I highly recommend checking out his website (robives.com)

why this particular goat seemed so familiar... of course, it's Logic Goat!!! The neighbor kids and I made a set of them a while back.
It looks like what we have here is a hybrid Logic Goat / Disagreeable Sheep, lol!
It's high on my list of priorities for the weekend, probably while I'm taking a break from the maze. For those of you who haven't made a paper automaton before, it's really pretty fun and interesting. To the point of addiction Lots of books out there with instructions and color cut-outs and, as cathyr mentioned, you can go to Rob Ives' website. He's got a lot of really fun stuff over there!

I tried to use them to do the instructions from the pictogram. Didn't amount to much other than a cluttered desk and me making weird phonetic sounds for a while.

they seem to match the symbols from the ouroboros besides being puzzle lock symbols anyway is what I'm thinking but how to get anywhere with that is where I'm stuck.
