So, the Smash and Grab seems to provide navigation through the Maze. Any idea what the Smash symbol instructs us what to do? Grab seems obvious. Thanks.

I escaped with the diamond in 32 seconds which seems wrong, but Ive double checked my work. When did everyone else escape?

It should take 54 seconds.

So, a question here. Dies the time code begin with the entry into the Maze, or upon capture of the diamond? Second, do the doors move at the start of the movement into the square, or after? For example, if you are on the diamond, are you crushed by the swinging door that triggers at 9 seconds ?

Also, sometimes "heading to the nearest outdoor exit" seems a bit nebulous at times. Almost like you could choose between a few different ones.

I was taking it to be the nearest open exit, but I could certainly be off track.

But I can tell you that the door does not push or crush you. The first second should start on the first square. The doors move at the end of the second. Also, there should only be one time when there is more than one exterior door open, but it should be fairly obvious that only one is not blocked by other interior doors.

I got out a 28 seconds. I was in the top right corner at second 23.....I have NO idea what to do with the letters along the route..... Door 1 opens at 00:23, and blocks the top hallway when it is open. You need to go through the center to get to Door 1 at that point.

At first I started the timer when I entered the bottom right door, and I escaped in 32 seconds out the top right door with the diamond. Then I noticed the instructions that the timer starts when you nab the diamond. If the first second is on the square to the left of the diamond then you escape at 9 seconds from the bottom right door. Wrong.
So the first second must be on the diamond with 2 being the square to the left of it, but when I follow this path and I am at 15s, I am at a fork in the road where either direction is equidistant from the nearest exist and I dont know which way to go. If I go to the right I get trapped in the room forever, if I go to the left I get to another fork at 17s and that doesnt seem right, so I stopped.
So, what am I doing wrong?

For those still working in this...
I found it really helpful to break out some 1x3 and 1x4 LEGO plates and using them to signal the state of the doors. This freed up my mind to ensure I was following the right path.

I did it in Excel, drew a picture second by second of the state of the doors for a minute, and then walked an X through
