I came to check this out for some practice as I understand that it bears some similarity to the Harvest Time puzzle. I believe I have the three words (assuming that the chef is angry ). Don't see why this would possibly be a knock-knock joke though. The italicised parts asks "what 3 words"? I think I know them, but I have no idea what to do with them. Am I missing something obvious?

Your thoughts on the chef are off. He approves of the use.

Hmm, fair enough. That one didn't feel quite right but did seem to fit well enough to have a chance. I may need a nudge for that one then.

It was the toughest of the three, I'd start with what a chef does, and then see if you can take one of those terms and make it punny.

I could use some help with this is people are still looking at this thread. First I assume Lou and Bud refers to the old joke. I know what the italics refer to. but it says there is no database for the words so how would that help? and I can't figure out number three at all. plus the first two that I did figure out make no sense. I'm glad I looked at this forum before ordering anything because I am obviously not cut out for it. lol

Looking at all the above, the first word looks like Buddy if that helps? Although probably totally wrong reading of this thread...

No I don't think you are wrong since that's what I got too. So I hope that's not wrong. LOL. I'm wondering if I'm reading too much into it and just need to step back and see it for what it is? This has me stumped! But in a good way, I was up until 4 am, puzzled, and nearly missed work at 10. lol!
