I've always loved creating puzzles for my family and friends, all of whom seem very thrilled when I regale them with my masterpieces. In fact, it's how I came across Curios and Conundrums. Anyway, I love to write and I love puzzles, so I have created a story-based puzzle adventure. We'll have to see what's too easy and what's too difficult, because this is my first time undertaking something of this magnitude.
While I didn't create the ideas for most of the puzzles, every puzzle was created by me. Put another way, I didn't invent the word search, but I did hand-make this one. The story is an original one by me, and the dialogue sequences/letters/stories are all penned by my hand. Basically, the majority of this is my invention, with a few scattered influences from outside forces.
I am always happy to be messaged for help, questions, comments, suggestions, and/or constructive criticism.
But without further ado, I present to you...The Garden.
There used to be puzzle here. But do not panic. I simply did an update. The puzzle has been turned into a .pdf document with seven difficulties to choose from! Details below. Click here to visit the download page. Hopefully nothing goes wrong technologically, but just let me know if it does.
Difficulties:
Easiest - All the puzzles are relatively in order, have names (some of which help solve them), and let you know how many "sections" each puzzle has to it.
Easier - Same as easiest, except without the numbers of "sections".
Easy - The puzzles are relatively in order.
Normal - The adventure is split into five chapters. Each chapter's puzzles are scrambled up, but the chapters are in order.
Hard - Same as above, except the adventure is split into three chapters.
Harder - All the puzzles except the intro have been scrambled into one big mess. You'll have to do them in any order.
Hardest - Same as above, except with the removal of the clues that helped you figure out what code to use. It also features one original puzzle not in any other difficulty and a slightly altered word search.
Printable versions are the same as their respective counterparts, except for the fact that they've been mushed together. It's a bit crowded, but the puzzles are happy to comply if it helps save trees and squids. Thank you for suggesting this, sunrhyse!
