lucasscooter You're way ahead of me on the puzzle front-- I say I "like" puzzles, but I've never been very good at them. For me, it's more like saying "I like magic shows," because I enjoy them even though I have no idea how they are done XD But I will still try to deduce your age... is it... 24? If so, you're not that much younger than me I'm not clever enough to have figured out your signature, though Tried a few ideas; will try more later EDIT: regarding the signature... it's not Caesar, unless I missed it, but it's all alphabet... my knowledge of cryptology is much more limited than my knowledge of random trivia, thus I was inclined to think it might be MPC's apparent favorite Vigenere cipher... but I don't fully understand how to decrypt using a Vig square, having just learned the method existed, so I used a program to try to figure out the key... no luck, except if it is a Vig cipher, it would be at least an 8 letter key... but it could be a whole phrase or block of text... But from searching what information you've provided about yourself, I assume it's fairly obscure... so I give up even though I'm still curious XD I am absolutely horrible at spacial puzzles. Trying to imagine a 2D image as 3D is, while not completely beyond my capabilities, something I definitely struggle with. Plus, it's the loving puzzles that matters, not whether or not you're good at them. You're not quite right on the age-- it's lower than 24. For my signature, I figured it would be perfect for this forum, but I didn't think anyone would try to solve it so fast. You're knuckling onto the right track. I didn't want to make it so obscure it was covering all at hand, so all you need is within palm's reach, right at your fingertips.

Darn it, I was sure on the age... here's my math: 20-12+100 (India)-84 But as we English majors used to say, "I'm an English major, YOU do the math XD" As for the signature... well I do get all the hand references, so I went back to Vig cypher and tried "phalange" and "keyboard" as keys XD But of course that wasn't it... I hope someone else picks up the puzzle and gives it a shot! I need to get back to studying cardiac dysrhythmias (because I'm a double major-- English literature and nursing science, makes sense right?!) XD

XD On your math (which I will admit I prefer English over math, as well)... you are correct on one number and one number only. I would love to see someone out and about wearing an "I'm an English major, YOU do the math" T-shirt. I'm sure others would to! You're resting on untapped millions, Holly. For my signature signature... the hand will help you understand when you've stumbled across the passphrase. You could probably break it by trying random words, but there's no need. Something in my expert document will help you succeed. I should've been a poet. You should just tell any patients, professors, or whatnot that people with cardiac dysrhythmias just have hearts that are clapping on the off beat, like that one friend we all have. Guaranteed top marks, I'm sure. Both English and medicine are interesting fields of study; you can read to your patients and be the literature party life of the hospital! Also, you should check out The Awkward Yeti's webcomics. They're funny, but especially so for anyone studying medicine.

Good day, all. My name is Annelise. I ordered the Ceiba Tree experience as a gift for my boyfriend, who loves archaeology. We are enjoying it together! On the side, I did subscribe to C&C, however I had no comprehension of the depth of its stories or puzzles. I have started with Vol.3 Issue 3 and have realized I will be needing the previous Volumes. I will have to put my puzzle solving adventures on hold until I can order them!
As for an actual introduction, I feel as though my occupation and daily activities hardly reflect my innermost personality. It is hard to get to know me with small talk alone, in fact I rather despise it. To say that my Myers-Briggs personality type is the closest you'll get to understanding me through an introductory paragraph is somewhat of an exaggeration, but nevertheless, I will disclose it. I am an INTP.
That being said, I suppose I can provide something like a baseball card of information and stats.
Annelise H. Female, 26 Occupation: Self Employed Dog Sitter and Groomer; Sales Associate for General Nutrition Center Favorite Color: Purple Pets: One female feline named Mary Location: Eastern United States
What else do you want to know?
Cheers, Moggette

What else do you want to know? Cheers, Moggette Hello, Moggette! Ok, first question... how did you come up with your username? It reminds me of the Moogles from the Final Fantasy series...

Moogles! Such cute little creatures; however, the nomenclature of my character is derived from the Garth Nix novel Sabriel. The character "Mogget" appears as a white cat, companion to Sabriel, but he holds a powerful secret! Good series.

Welcome aboard. jackoat Many things inspire me, so many things went into it. As for the solution you found, I just needed a quote from something specific. I don't even know what it's about, who says it, etc. I guess this means I need to add more puzzles to my signature, to make it even more complex. Or start from scratch and create a whole new puzzle!

Hey all! New to the community and Curios & Conundrums. Came across MPC with the Kickstarter for Filigree in Shadow. Thought C&C sounded right up my alley, started with Vol. 1 Issue 1.
Guess I'll start listing some stats. I'm 30 years old, work as an engineer, live in the Midwestern USA.
From there, I'll let you ask anything you wanna know (within reason of course).

I'm sure we're all dying to know, so let me be the first to ask... what's the word reason mean? I personally have never encountered this strange thing and would like to know it it is dangerous in any way. Joking aside, it's a neat community (and C&C is, of course, fantastic) that will welcome you with open arms. If you need any help on the puzzles, you can always ask some of the "higher ups" in a PM, as well (I would personally recommend Todd or the illustrious k8). Enjoy your stay!

But I'm not an engineer XD I'm a third year nursing science student and phlebotomist with a BA in English lit What do you engineer?

The chat doesn't seem as populated as I would have hoped. I'm using the forums through Tapatalk so the statistics of forum usage aren't clear from this point of view. I could log on using a browser, but I figured I would ask the regulars instead: what's the dynamic of this community? I can tell that the puzzle solving hint forums are well used. Is there more to is than that? I'm always up for joining the fun in a well bonded online community, but finding a good one these days seems nigh impossible with my particular set of interests.
TLDR: I wanna chat!

TLDR: I wanna chat! We don't use the Tapatalk chat much at all, as there is an IRC Chatroom. There are almost always several people there, but conversations frequently lull. Do you have an IRC client? If so, the server you want to connect to is: irc.chat-solutions.org The room is #mpc.
