The soap - I opened it, just in the spirit of paying attention to all details. But see nothing significant about it. It has a pleasing aroma, and St. mark's Hotel is also stamped in the soap itself. I looked at it with my uv flashlight and other than something in the soap itself sparkling, it revealed nothing, at least nothing to me.

Does your wrapper have some letters/numbers printed on the inside? I can't tell if that's just a production code, or an online redemption code

But God knows I could be wrong.

I wonder if there's something in the soap. Mine is cracked sort of and there doesn't seem to be anything in there, but I may soak it in water just to see what could be there. It doesn't seem to be much help as soap. SaveSave

Just a note - St. Mark's Hotel is the hotel in the story The Blue Moon

Has anyone bathed with their soap? Or washed their hands/face with it? Is it actually soap?

I googled the 'production code'. Interesting. Awwww you made me open my soap. My numbers TMYS 01-1EA-XP-OM 02 don't seem to lead anywhere.

My dog ate my soap before I had a chance to inspect it. That's hysterical! ...and no additional clues came out the other end, huh?

I'm so behind! I just finished reading #3. Notice how the listed hotel room prices are awfully cheap for NYC. That usually suggests a high "creepy" factor ~ (same pricing as a colorful dive at which I once stayed where the bathroom was on the other side of the building and the halls had this 'gaslight' effect and no one ever seemed to see the little old lady teetering down the long, dark hall except me...just sayin'...)
