The new clue within the daytime lock is helpful...I think it's a stretch to say that the envelope clues what to do with the nighttime keys. I'm currently locked out, but now that I have the clue from connecting the nighttime answers end to end and that takes me to the coin, am I suppose to then guess 9-letter words connecting the back of the coin to the "A"? Or is there something in the food images on the coin? The envelope connection chains you to an answer.

I had some wonderful guidance, and instruction on how the long path works, but my EUREKA moment came when I was simply staring at the lock, waiting for it to reactivate, muttering "scarlet, scarlet, scarlet".
Then it was merely a coin toss. but I am amazed at the brilliant leaps the 10 lock solution requires. BTW, my locks don't have any + signs for clues This is the clue that did it! I was staring at lock waiting for it to reset, and although I knew what it was, I forgot what I was looking at. *Facepalm*

sorry to admit that I am still stumped by this one. I have solved all the night locks, but see nothing that brings me to the outer envelope clue, or the Daylock A clue. I do understand that the Scarlet A, is referring to someone but from there I don't see where to go. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Well I thought I had it, but clearly I didn't.
I'm not sure I understand the references given here, either. I don't see any connection with the answers or the curios.

I'm currently locked out, but now that I have the clue from connecting the nighttime answers end to end and that takes me to the coin, Connecting them end to end gets me nothing discernible, or even anything in common. I'm not sure how it points to the coin . Even so, I don't see how that helps me with the A. And the chains just seems to add even more confusion. Sorry, I know I come off as frustrated, but it's because I am. This puzzle is driving me crazy, and it seems like it shouldbe obvious but isn't.

Should've just logged on to the IRC channel 3 hours ago. Thank you Todd. For the record: It isn't chaining the answers themselves together, it's using the "begins" and "ends" of them.

Well, those are the links within the chain.

I have read this this thread several times and have tried linking the 10 answers and 1st and last letters of the answers together every way I can think of and am still not getting anything but gibberish and certainly nothing that points to the coin. Maybe I have the answers in the wrong order? I'm using the order on the night lock page, which is the same order as the icons under the day lock clue. Please help! Thx. EDIT: As usual, right after posting, I figured it out. (Starting to think is it's a required step in the process for me.) For those still struggling: On a whim, I decided to see if the lock order was the same in the print version of the puzzle key and the on-line version. All three orders were different. Once I stopped assuming it was given, a natural order was obvious, and a legible clue emerged. Still seems like a stretch to get from there to the coin tho...

Did you notice the image of the SUGARLOAF on the face of coin?
What was the clue given on the vault? Once you've completed it, you no longer see the clues.

Ummmm...... *checks google images* *checks wikipedia* Yes. Yes I did. The vault clue was: That which begins must likewise end.

I would love a masssive kick in the right direction with this. I've seen people talking about A on the envolope but as I order mine as a compendium I feel I might be missing something.

This one has me burning through legal pads. I just can't get anything rolling. A nudge would be amazing!
