Agreed, thanks a lot Helena. When I finally understand it and can put it with your clues, I'm sure I will facepalm and say "yep, that's what was said..."

I'm probably over complicating this, but I have a few observations.
-Since the answer is 24 letters, but there are 25 in Perplexle, we have to eliminate one somehow.
-Putting the Hawthorn coin on top of the middle "bonus square" in Perplexle would not only eliminate a letter, but also add a number. A pretty important number too. Namely a one from the back of the coin...maybe a place to start?
-It's tough to tell which way the 'O's are rotated just using Perplexle, but the new card may help clear that up? Particularly the second from the bottom right. It originally looks like 89, but it's really 68.
-I tried shifting the letters in the direction the numbers are rotated (and vice-versa), but didn't really get anywhere.
Just a few thoughts I had hoping that something might spur someone else's efforts.

You can tell the O direction from the middle oval, it's more elongated. Something interesting I noticed: The numbers in the puzzle board repeat, while the numbers in the original Bingo don't. Maybe those un-repeated numbers could be used to point to a specific letter in the perplexle? And the way the puzzle board is rotated could be the way you need to rotate the perplexle letter?

Ive been banging on this one for several hours and don't appear to be getting anywhere, even with the hints that I've already read in the forums. Can someone please give me an extra nudge?

As a collector of curiosities, I frequently need to look up something's value before I can determine its position in my collection.

I have solved this, but am somewhat perplexed by the discussion of rotation. I rotated nothing to get the answer. In fact, I simply ignored the original orientation. That's my position. BINGO!

Reading all these hints and clues has made me more confused.... I'm sure you're only two steps away... Puzzles come in all shapes and sizes, except for this one. Like kings from the orient are the required elements. While the primary value of a number is intrinsic, it's secondary position is not arbitrary.

Lucky you, I don't have issue 3.1 so I think I'm completely stuck...

For those still stick, a little extra hint You need both bingo squares + Perplexle and that is it. and You can ignore the rotation of all the numbers and letters until you are at the very very end, and then you will see 2 words that don't make sense and you can use the rotations to fix them.

Are we looking for one letter per square? I am not getting the relationship between the two cards to apply that to the Perplexle

I'm a bit confused. Is the Perplexle everyone is referring to from an earlier issue? If we just started on issue 3 are we out of luck?
