I gratefully used the hint to use the key But I too am unsure how it was figured out to link that with this puzzle rather than one of the others.

Alright. I'm confused here. I've got the key.
I've looked up it's meaning.
I know that it's a code he used with his wife.
I see the Key shape on the bottom of page nine telling me certain key words that are a part of the code.
I believe I'm finding the things that "catch my eye".
But I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with the words on the keys. Like. Not even the slightest idea of how to decode anything on this one.
Is there a place to find "Houdini's code" online that I'm supposed to see? Cause I'm lost

Mapface, I don't think the eye catching-ness is the important part. I'm pretty sure they italicized the important part.

Ok, I'm feeling particularly slow. I understand that the key leads to the code, and that the code can be used on the "key" message to get 10 letters or numbers. It doesn't seem to help to apply these letters to the quiz . What am I missing?

I'm stuck on this one. I think I have 10 numbers from the key code but I can't figure out how it applies to the quiz. I just get gibberish Any more specific hints would be greatly appreciated.

The code leads to the answer to select where you can find, as the instructions say, the first thing that catches your eye It's been a while but that is how I remember it.

I understand the key will lead me to a story, that will lead me to a code. I have translated the code to letters from A-Z and numbers 0-9. I see a "key" on the bottom of 9, with 10 key words. Three key words have quotation marks around them. I have looked back at the original quiz and looked for the key words, no luck. I have attempted translating the phrase that I found next to the "key" but nothing came of it that I can tell. I have pursued the paper for more way to use the code words but have found nothing that piqued my interest. Any ideas that will set me on the right track?

My advice: 1) Do you notice anything in common about the numbers that the Page 9 key yields? Maybe a range that they fall into? 2) How many words were in the key? Does the quiz have something that might parallel that? 3) Reread the actual instructions on the Which God? quiz. There's a certain word in the instructions that jumps out.

I have the string of letters from the code and assume they lead to the answers of each question, not sure what should be catching my eye or how 10 questions lead to a 12 letter answer
