Thursday for me. It feels like forever since I've gotten a bonafide MPC Experience mailing. Can't wait!

Today, already! When did the mailing ship, if I may ask? My recipient did not say a word, the scoundrel! On the 25th, so it took five days -- which is impressive, especially given that my local customs office holds on to absolutely everything they can get their filthy mitts on. I've spent the last few hours mulling over the contents of the mailing, and despite giving up on (a detail on the contents follows) what is probably a cipher on several documents, I nevertheless have a sneaking suspicion that I have already guessed what the overall "solution" will be. If I'm right, I'm not sure how I'll feel about it at the end. For now, I have to say I'm thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail and the materials used. Now I desperately want to know if someone shares my suspicions...

Intriguing! It sounds like this first mailing is not in danger of being dismissed too easily!
The Company seem to have experimented with different carriers for overseas shipping recently. The last two parcels I received from them - the first Curios & Conundrums subscription box and The Artifact from The Demon Jar - have taken quite a while to arrive, but they have not been held up in customs at all, which I hope will be the norm in the future. Before that, every customs office ever would hold every single crate and have me or my recipients open them there and then (I - or they - have had to deal with the offices in Hanover, Brunswick, Hamelin and Hildesheim).

Hi everyone, Filigree is my first MPC experience. I received the first shipment in Germany today and I'm both impressed and confused. So glad I found this forum, and looking forward to reading along with all of you. Welcome to the "experience" experience! "Confused" is a quite normal reaction, and to be expected for the first mailing, so hang on and enjoy the ride!

The missive has arrived! I've only been able to give it a cursory once-over, but it's quite impressive, and much more engaging and immersive than in past experience for an initial mailing--how exciting!! I'm quite inclined to agree with mstoad's spoiler on the contents.

Received mine in the UK today and must say its extremely impressive, much more so than the initial mailing for Century Beast. There does indeed seem to be a cipher on many of the documents. Time to start a new thread for the experience proper!

Got mine today and at first I thought I'd wait until after the weekend to open it, because its a very busy work week for me. I'm vending at an outdoor festival that's in its 105th or so year, and attracts 10-12,000 people. But I couldn't resist a peek and a cursory glance over the various documents. It arrived addressed to me with my deceased birth mother's last name as part of it - which admittedly I knew it would because I gave them the name, but it added nicely to the chill factor. Its almost like having a secret maiden name (lol). There's at least one multi-part puzzle to solve the cipher on multiple documents plus lots of other nice goodies. I have to admit opening the sealed envelope containing the last missive from the financial adviser was rather a "do I or don't I" moment. I spent a good long while staring at the wax seal before I broke it. And lastly - question to everyone about the non-paper artifact What color is your lock of memento hair? I can't remember if we gave them our hair color and they tried to match it or not. But however it happened mine is EXACTLY my own shade of hair - down to the highlights. I held it next to my own locks and couldn't tell where mine ended and it began. It was so surreal and spooky. - SHIVERS !!

I nevertheless have a sneaking suspicion that I have already guessed what the overall "solution" will be. If I'm right, I'm not sure how I'll feel about it at the end. So, which ending did you choose, dark or darker? I wonder if the choice will effect the ending of the present-day narrative involving the recipient of the Experience or the Victorian times narrative concerning the fate of the house.

The second mailing is scheduled to ship at the end of this week for me. I'm optimistic.

My first mailing still has not shipped. Second is supposed to be September 15, and the third September 29, but those dates seem pretty way off now.

Question about Kickstarter experiences.
I have purchased for myself, The Weeping Book, The Demon Jar, and now John Augur and Filigree in Shadow. FiS is the first opportunity I had to buy a Kickstarter exp. on the MPC website it shows I can expect a total of five mailings. If this were just a "normal" exp, I would expect the last mailing to be the reveal, and the second to last to be the crate. I also purchased the Seance, so I expect that to be one of the mailings. Which is three out of five mailings. This leaves only one more FiS mailing (the second mailing) for me. Does someone with more exp with Kickstarter experiences agree with my calculations? Or, are others expecting the Seance to be a separate mailing announced later like the Tshirt is listed separately?

Or, are others expecting the Seance to be a separate mailing announced later like the Tshirt is listed separately? With The Century Beast, The Reveal would be included in the mailings listed in the orders section on the website, as per usual. I cannot recall the original campaign right now, and navigating the Wayback Machine from my phone is nothing short of a nightmare, but is there confirmation that The Seance would constitute a separate mailing?
-EDIT- I had a chance to look at the original campaign description again, and there does not seem anything to indicate that The Séance includes an additional mailing; indeed, it is describes as "an additional side story" in most references. Since the third mailing was supposed to be about the ramifications of a Séance gone wrong - or horrifically right - perhaps The Séance will supplement the third chapter of the Experience.
Additionally, The Epilogue seems to have been absorbed into the additional mailing the Company added after conclusion of the kickstarter:
From Update #13: Our third stretch goal, The Choice, has been met. Not only does this include an epilogue as an additional mailing, but the epilogue itself also offers several variances of tone, meaning for the first time the final moments of the experience can be tailored to the sensitivities of the recipient.
From Update #22: Whether you opted for the standard Experience, or the Séance, Bespoke Séance or one of our Legacy reward levels, you will be getting even more than we initially offered during the campaign! Further development and research into this strange tale uncovered additional documents and curios. Accordingly, instead of four mailings, there are now five.
On that matter: I wonder if the additional mailing will still be an epilogue of sorts and if it will ship before or after The Artifact. The Newspaper Epilogue from The Century Beast was shipped after the Crate.
