This is my first C&C, so I'm not quite sure how this goes or if I am missing something because I didn't get 3.1 or before. Do I need to look in older issues? Please forgive me if I use spoiler tags poorly. I have only found ten of the symbols that populate the map on the back page, even though there are clearly more. The ones I have found seem to correspond to items in the paper that are relevant, including the games, the horoscope and the decency cream ad. Did they do the rest before or am I missing them? Mind you, I don't know exactly what I will do when I get them, since I don't have enough individual piece solved to correlate things.

Welcome! The map puzzle appears to be a four-part puzzle involving all the issues this volume. I recommend grabbing the Volume 3 Number 1 back issue.

Its possible now to decode all the place names on both pieces of the map. You have to make some educated guesses, but it all fits together. It was a fun puzzle to do, even if it isn't complete yet.

Not that I found, tho a couple of proper nouns were names with origins in other languages. Then again, we're all just guessing to fill in the blanks -- and who knows, the price of Hubris could well be the padlocks or phonemes changing out from under us.

I am going to attempt to make some educated guesses this evening! I love your handle by the way!
