Possibly just a fluke during the packing process, but I have two Lamuella stickers. I figured I'd take note of it for posterity; one never knows, I suppose. I also received two of these same stickers.

I received all the same stuff as you guys but no MOTHERLAND card game :-(. Should I send an email or somthing? iamlost4815, I definitely recommend sending an email if you haven't already (which you probably have, given the date on your post, but I'm just getting to this party). My package had an "adhesive malfunction" that caused some items to be lost in transit (or were they stolen by gang-stalkers!?), and the Curator was very prompt and helpful in replying to my paranoid and desperate plea.

Do these objects correspond in someone to something in the paper in each case, because the the Nitpicker helped solver a problem. I know the Nightmare Abbey corresponds to an article in the paper, but am not sure of significance. Sorry I am new to this!

If I remember correctly the red thread and pins can be helpful in the puzzle associated with The Rulez (Rules?). Helpful, but not necessary if you are good at attention to detail.
The mattress tag has been tried various ways to be connected to this or that puzzle, but as of now, to my knowledge, no clear connection has been made.
The other items, I believe are there mostly to provide atmosphere. But as no one has yet breeched the vault, I could be wrong.

In general, the curios all relate to either specific articles or at least the general theme of the issue. However, only occasionally are any of them actually needed to solve puzzles or codes. Most of the time, the curios are just there for fun and to add to the overall atmosphere.

yes, I'm mistaken! It had been previously mentioned, but I forgot to reiterate it in my statement. Good looking out.

I wish there was a purpose to the flags and string. Perhaps it will tie in to a future puzzle? Not very helpful for those who start late though...
