Well I've got six quotes so far but haven't put a whole lot of time in, and what remains is to decide what to do with the numbers that each quote returns, some numbers at least appear twice on the star map, I thought it would be a dot-to-dot, haven't yet decided which dot to go for! I did do the drawing thing with the ruler at the bottom of the map, and that gave me a fish shape, perhaps? but not sure what to do with that ultimately |

Yeah, I only followed the numbers at the bottom of the document, which gave me the one quote. Guess I will have to see what else can be done to the map to form more!

I found the Einstein quote, but there are several other famous names listed and I presume that they have famous quotes mixed in there too, which I have not yet discovered. I got the same shape as you, twice once with the quote and again with the numbers at the bottom.

Or was it purely guess work by looking at words in the right hand columns? If it was a puzzle, could you point me in the right direction of how to approach it? |

The only puzzle in the list of words is that some of them are in the format "- Albert Einstein" or "- Marie Curie" and that of course is standard form for expressing a quote, then it's a matter of hunting through the words and piecing each quote together. |

Yes, I realize some of the words had commas, etc. as that was part of the finished quote. What I was stating was that the "official" puzzle clearly indicates what you have to do to arrive at a particular person's quote. That puzzle involved the instructions at the bottom of the star chart. My assumption is that the rest of the people and word segments are just red herrings designed to make a larger list to prevent guessing. I'm sure you could guess at making other quotes, but as far as I could tell there was no other logical puzzle to do to arrive at other quotes.

I haven't finished them, but I was sort of thinking each of the quotes would be a different picture and the 6 pictures together would mean something. If it really were just the one quote and nothing more, well, I would be very disappointed to think this is representative of the puzzles they will have in the finished boxes.

The puzzles discussed here were provided by The Armchair Detective Company in the updates of their indiegogo campaign. They are not part of any of their cases, but were meant to pass the time until the boxes are being shipped. So yes, they are indeed for everyone! |
