To think that our esteemed Curator would accidentally reveal a secret like this! Unbelievable! I realize that this is not the central mystery of The Century Beast, but I would like to know more about Sarah and why she chose the recipient of the Experience as her confidante. I was hoping to get a better look at the blue and white logo on the notepad she used to write the letter from mailing #6, but no such luck. This seems to be heading straight towards a "we hardly knew yer" type of situation, when she inevitably tries to steal "it" from "them" and disappears shortly after, never to be heard from again.
Regarding connections between this mailing and others:
Wasn't the doomed Westmund archeological dig located at Hille?
I really enjoy the progression of this longer experience, and how the seemingly random mailings come together bit by bit.

I agree, we seemed to be all over the place to begin with, yet now, slowly, we are being brought into the fold. I must admit I have some issue with the miscommunication, and the information on the KS campaign seemingly being ignored outright in some aspects, but overall I am pleased with how things are going... I will admit, though, it does frustrate me to read here that the Black Friday orders are on par with our own (the KS backers, of which I am a Diamond Level)

Ah, since there is nothing much out there in the way of spoilers, I am quite alright with the Black Friday Experiences catching up with ours. The privilege of my Experience being sent out before others does not, in itself, mean all that much to me - the practical reasons, namely that information about the items on the internet is scarce at best, carry much more weight for me.
As for the differences between the description of the chapters during the Kickstarter campaign and the actual mailings: until the final shipment has been received, I prefer to remain optimistic and will assume that any alterations to the sequence of mailings has been made to benefit the narrative. So far, my experiences with the company have been very positive, so I cannot imagine that they would actually not deliver any items that were named as part of the mailings during the campaign.

Seventh mailing arrived today. Letter, poster, and one other item. All flat printed stuff.

So my wife received this mailing, but I never got a shipment notification, and it wasn't counted among one of my 7 mailings (So I still have the last two shipments left unsent) It came with a several page letter, an invite to an exhibition, and a double page folded small poster. Is that what other folks got?

I'm excited to see, let us hope we don't have another long delay in the mailing of the final chapter. I just can't get past the video trailer, it makes a much bigger deal about the arch. dig than I feel has been covered in the experience so far, but then again, this next mailing is the artifact. So maybe we will get more of that story then.

I just can't get past the video trailer, it makes a much bigger deal about the arch. dig than I feel has been covered in the experience so far, but then again, this next mailing is the artifact. While it did not seem much at the time, back when we got the Riksantikvaren document, the Expedition now becomes more important to the outcome of the story.
The item at the center of the Hille Collection
can be safely assumed to be the stone carving created by the chronicler who sailed with Tore Halfbeard - see the legend as told by the Museum poster and the illustration on the invitation. If our friend is correct in her assumption that the Jonas Ramos incident was the last natural occurence of the Century Beast,
the artifacts from the Hille Collection are the only tangible connection to the only recorded incident where the Beast had been confronted outside of its 100 year cycle, and maybe the key to doing so again.
As she is desperate for answers - preferrably within her lifetime - I currently see two outcomes for our friend, and none of those are of the "in a few years we are gonna laugh about this" variety.
She will almost certainly try and steal the artifact from the museum; I think she indicated as much in the previous letter, if memory serves. I suspect she will either succeed in confronting the Beast herself and be lost at sea, or the elusive "They" she kept going on about will catch up with her before she can. Keep in mind that there is also the second online puzzle yet to be revealed, the one originally planned for when the Company first conceived the story of The Century Beast. The Kickstarter campaign described it as
an academic website with Information about several of the artifacts. I assume that more information about the doomed expedition will come to light there.

So we confirmed the first puzzle was the band website? Was any resolution found to solving it?

I admit, this was more of an assumption on my part - it certainly seemed complex enough. But I have not yet made any headway finding out what there might be to solve.

I still can't shake the feeling there's something to be solved with the way the blood drops "drip" from the band's name. And I want to take another look at the website's source code.

I assume we are all in a holding pattern here after 7th mailing?

I assume we are all in a holding pattern here after 7th mailing? That seems to be the case - the shipping date has not been updated either.

They did update the experience site to show all of the items we've received. They actually lump the prologue and the mailing after that into the first mailing.
