12A, 13A, 20A, 2D (I might have this one, idk yet....) and 9D.
I'm going to admit that I don't fully understand the answers to both 12A and 13A given their clues, even having cracked the Vault! I got both from crosses/context. I could clue just the words, but I think I'll let people who actually solved this "correctly" clue them.
If you were to describe a circle of morning damp, what two word description would you use that would also sound like one six-letter word? Another helpful thing is to reverse the order for the answer, so morning damp and then circle.
Again similar, but this one's rough as there's sort of a number disagreement between the clue and the eventual word that breaks a typical crossword golden rule about cluing (you'll see what I mean when you get the right word). The word you're looking for breaks down into three separate parts here; focus on the first word, the second word, and then the rest of the phrase. Finally, if you're still not getting it, one more clue:
diggitydoodog: I've had dubious documents for 2 years now and finally went to work on it. Would anyone on here be willing to PM me the answer or post it in a spoiler so I can check the solution?
