Discuss the crossword puzzle here. Please provide hints, not answers, and use the Spoiler Tags to hide your hints (Press the button with the face holding a finger to its lips). For example: 1 Down - It ceases to exist as soon as you give it to someone else - If I told you, then it wouldn't be this.

The one you hinted at I was able to get without a problem, the one that is really getting my goat is (from memory) 9 down? Surrounded by a group, old fashioned version. So far I have (again, from memory) A_O_G__.

And to be fair, the Curator has some pretty punny/clever clues in the series. Sometimes when I get the answer I actually laugh out loud.

I could use some nudges;
Thousands of words?
A place for the public to graze their cows? Second of three? Progenitors of literature?
Thanks in advance.

I'll have to get with you when I can refer to my notes. From memory, I believe for Thousands of Words you need to consider Their value. The ground where the cows graze might be something we agree on.

I'll have to get with you when I can refer to my notes. From memory, I believe for Thousands of Words you need to consider Their value. The ground where the cows graze might be something we agree on. For Second of Three It's less about being second and more about how that position relates to the other two. And a Progenitor of literature is One who writes books.

Todd, you're hints are basically professional! Could I also get a couple nudges on these from someone? A21: Divide evenly I have a possible answer for this one, but would like to know if it's correct. It rhymes with beach. D22: One more letter and you could make bread A13: After this, all you have is a fine powder the answer I have at the moment rhymes with brains....

I believe you are right on 21A. The bread ingredient you want for 22D is a homonym for what bees love, but don't forget to remove a letter. And for 13A, it is misleading to say your only possible result is a fine power. Consider also a courser product, Like pepper or coffee.

A few nudges are required here: 14 Down: Literary Term for someone different I have the word beginning with an O and ending in a R....
As well 18 Down: The existence of this ensures the existence of a way. I have the second and fourth letters being _I_L...and am having trouble coming up with a word.

If you didn't watch LOST, then one of these things is not like the _____. 18 Down: You've got the letters right. Where there's one of these, there's a way.
