I have been meaning to reply here for some time, but I hardly know where to start...
I regularly watch all of the DC Comic adaptions currently available (Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Gotham and, until the cold-hearted Money People took him from us, Constantine as well) as well as the Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul. I am all caught up with the BBC's Sherlock and now patiently awaiting their next series, and I am one season behind on Game of Thrones.
Seeing as this is way too much television for a grown man with a full time occupation already, I have fallen way behind on a couple of other Shows, I do, for example, enjoy James Spader on The Blacklist tremendously, but I just can not make the time.
badwolf, if you enjoyed Black Books, I must recommend you take a look at the other shows by Graham Linehan, Father Ted and The IT Crowd. A word of advice: There is a German remake. Do not accidentally watch that.
Genii, the Rivals do sound intriguing, but your last recommendation keeps me fairly busy as it is.

Beckett, thanks for the tip. I really liked the Black Books humor and would love to see more of that. And no worries: this evil German remake will not get me ..EVEeeR
Btw, for you and any other Germans here I would recommend some of the Tatortreiniger series. I did not expect much and was pleasantly surprised by its real live weirdness

For the sake of codes and ciphers, and the fact that I will never grow too old for cartoons; I would suggest Gravity Falls. It's only 4 seasons but I very much enjoyed it.

Me too!
And speaking of cartoons, I also liked some of the Phineas and Ferb stories as well as Star vs. The Forces of Evil. And if someone is daring I can also recommend some of the My little Pony episodes ;-)

"Drunk in Bielefeld"; not a state I find myself in on a regular basis, but the offer is appreciated.

probably will forget a more then a few: being human doctor who torchwood almost all the comic adaptions (and hate it nothing I have shows constantine decently so probably will see it streaming in bad quality on day or another, and have to add I still have a grudge against DC that they stopped the mature vertigo comic) broadchurch orphan black (nice to see it popping up a few times here) sherlock and yes also Life on Mars and its followup Ashes to ashes. futurama and anime (not everything but there is so much good stuff between it ranging from extreme silly to very realistic drama) also some series from Belgium but I guess these listings will be lost to most.

constantine ... have to add I still have a grudge against DC that they stopped the mature vertigo comic You're not the only one here who feels that way. Fun comics fact - back in the day I bought three pages of Sean Phillip's Hellblazer art from him at a Bristol Comics Show, the ones referencing Monty Python and a dead goldfish. Second Fun comics fact - I ended up chauffering Charlie Adlard from a car park to the comics shop he was signing at in Trowbridge, as the owner was in a bind and we were friends at the time. I've two more like these but I'm boring even myself so will stop.
