Being that we have two items about Annie Edison Taylor I tried finding out some facts via Wiki. Maybe someone can run with them. She did "c"larvoiance as a side job before her death. She died from Morphea. She tested out her barrel by sending her "c"at over the falls first 2 days before her stunt on the 24th. She went over the falls in a custom Pickle barrel.

As to quote the "Outlandish Planet" article: Niagara Falls "overflows with meaning" So we have a connection to The Medium is the Message and to KICK and perhaps to the Map (although the Skull Cave is a little further away from the Falls, but just a little) More?

More C words But what do we do with them all for more just look at the rest of the paper :-)

I have been staring at the falls for a while, it does seem to me that something is hidden there, I have not been able to discover what exactly it is, i see a face and words possibly! Also to Taylor, wiki had nothing to say about her being a grandmother, she had a son who died in infancy, and her husband was killed in the war. The only other point is the supposed date written was previous to all data given in the article. so was this written by our wayward wanderer?

Interesting, I haven't found a face or anything yet, but I did notice a certain man in a Bowler hat, dead center, bottom who doesn't seem to bee looking up like everyone else. Also, the Ciarobscuro talks about the strangeness of some of the people in George Seurat's masterpiece.

I've been spending time with the illustration. I'm not sure if this is really a spoiler because it has not yet yielded anything more than entertainment, but just in case it does later I am marking it as one. The style of the illustration led me to test it for the Victorian wallpaper effect. If you view it like a stereogram, there is a very cool 3-d aspect to it. If anything meaningful is hidden in it via this mechanism, it wasn't obvious to me yet.

Funny you say that, I was looking at Mehen game the same way was thinking I need a pair of 3-d glasses I was also looking at the artifact from you other post and was wondering the same!

That wasn't what I was looking for there, though what I was looking for is probably about as difficult to see, even if I hadn't accidentally made it next to impossible...

So we've all been paying attention to so many other articles, puzzles and curios - I feel that the AE Taylor poster has gotten lost. I'm not sure if there are any keys or clues in it but I intend to at least try finding some a whirl. Any thoughts, observations, guidance, warnings, trepidation, etc anyone may have before I start??

Just that the date is three days from the date on the article. One of the two articles that were dated. And one of the personals could describe the novel, Outlander. Good luck!

[/quote]I feel weird posting this, because the people here are so well read. My book list has gone up this year: ) Do you remember the centerfold pages in Mad magazine. Put a mirror on the right side of some of the pictures, and move it towards the middle, going left. And the other way around. Niagara falls and the map are interesting, from the cat's point of view. I know that the Victorians did things like this with their advertising. Niagara Falls reminds me of a stereograph.

I know this may sound weird, but looking at the image and turning it to the right, I see what looks like some ladies undergarment the man is pointing to it!

I'm figuring this is the right place for this question even though this thread is almost a year old. Did the fact that the date in the article heading and the date on the poster are three days off ever have any relevance besides The 21st and the 24th are both considered the day that she went down the falls depending on the source?
